Worked this morning so didn’t turn it off when I parked at the shop, worked fine again tonight. $50 isn’t to bad a fix if thats what it is. I know last time I took my last truck in for a blown intake gasket a $450 job tuned into a $900 job so I’m a little leery of taking it in.
Get that red dexcool antifreeze out of your engine and go with the green or you may have the intake gasket problem again. That stuff is corrosive to gaskets. Not sure what to tell you on the ac problem though.June 17, 2009 at 12:45 pm #784642I’m keeping my 99 Chevy, last model year with metal front and back bumpers (real bumpers !)Not impressed at all with all the new disposible plastic trucks out there…JMO.
June 17, 2009 at 12:40 pm #784640We catch some huge Buffalo in the spring here in a local creek using ultralights with 6 lb test….fun fun !!
June 17, 2009 at 12:33 pm #784638I drive a 99 Chevy CK 1/2 ton 4×4,eats alot of gas but pulls my 17ft deep v Tracker just fine.If you gotta pull a boat youre gonna burn fuel, make more money or fish less,I think the choice is clear,we are certainly not going to fish less now are we ?
June 17, 2009 at 12:00 pm #784632I bought a kayak very similar to the one in the above pic,it’s nice but very heavy and hard to carry by myself, thinking of selling it and getting a basic Old Town and setting it up with rod holders.Found a great little anchor at Academy sports and mounted a pulley on the front, works great.

June 15, 2009 at 5:22 pm #784114Training for personal watercraft(jet ski and such)is a good idea but I think to require another card to operate a boat is wrong. We are already regulated to death for everything we do in this country , leave my fishing alone please !Last thing I need to do is spend another 50 bucks to enjoy my sport.
June 15, 2009 at 12:53 am #783974A friend of mine mounted his inside the boat (through hull)He used the standard transducer with marine goop to stick it down, claims that it works great.
