I have a 2014 silverado 1/2 ton, I run a Boss HTX v plow with no issues what so ever. I throw 280 pounds of sandbags in the back. Also I added timbrens in the front to take some load off the suspension

I post this after using it numerous times, and being successful. Not mine, a friends

I plow with a ’14 silverado 1500 and a boss htx v plow. The htx is made for 1/2 ton trucks, i put timbrens in the front. I’ve had zero problems with overheating, and I drive an hour to start my route. I plow 30 driveways and one small parking lot, and have had zero problems with my truck handling it

God damn citiots, I’m so sick of them!!! Refuse to fish this lake on the weekends, was out there tonight and at prime time they couldn’t care less about fishing!!! Outside screaming, cranking the music and yelling from one ice castle to another!! Seen one jackass blaring music and didn’t even have his fish house lowered all the way down the whole time!!!!! I used to be a big advocate for the the precision. Lately I find it just doesn’t have the backbone for mille lacs walleyes. A hard mouthed fish like a walleye needs more of a slam to put it home! Also, braid and a floro leader helps with a more solid hook up. I fish mille lacs 4 days a week, so I’m not just blowing smoke. I would go with the Commander, Also the walleye sweetheart is solid. One more rod to consider is the perch sweetheart, it definitely has the backbone to pound through that hard mouth

Was out on Saturday for the morning bite with a buddy and our 2 boys. Did very well with 30 fish, did well with leeches on lindys early and moved on with spinners and crawlers. Most fish came off the bottom edge of the mud in 32-33′, great time watching my 8 year old do everything himself. He’s a natural!!
