    Was there monday and fishing was slow. Could have been all the boat traffic that shut the bite off. My best guess would be a good bite early morning or late afternoon.

    13 omen black in the 6’7″. Paired with Shimano stradic 2500 ci4+ for line I’m spoiled with suffix 832 6lb.

    The Jason mitchell rods are pretty decent for around $60. Not sure if they make a 7 footer. But worth checking out.

    Ok thank you. Thats what I was looking for. Gander extended their reel trade in so I can get a ci4+ for $180 or ci4 for $150. It sounds like the x-ship will be worth the extra $30.

    Yes its the last one they have. They have a lot of the ci4+ in stock. Its marked way down so thats why I was wondering if they made any big changes to the reel.

    So they are the same? Found one on clearance wasn’t sure if they made any changes. It will save me about $50 to buy a one year old one.
