Great to hear direct from someone with the company. Bummer with all the hassle on the fake ad’s. I have a buddy who purchased one of your suit’s last year based on a suggestion by me. He’s been real happy with the product. If/ When I need a new suit I’m sure I’ll purchase one from Windriver. Keep up the great work.

Thanks for promoting us, we definitely appreciate it! I will try and be more active here and not just lurk as well =) I like all the good info on the Mississippi pool 2 thread, so will try and post there more

I have seen those ads like mad. Glad you are actively trying to get them taken down.

Ugh. It takes FB about a week to take them down. But the very next day they have new accounts create and new ads running.

I want to thank Bearcat and Labdaddy. We try and make a really good product and offer it at a fair price. Which is why we offer a lifetime warranty on our gear. We are also a local company (we have a small office in St Paul right by the 494 launch if you want to stop by and try something on)

I normally just lurk, but we have been having some major issues with scammers on Facebook, so just wanted to throw this out there. If you see ads like the ones I attached please note that they are fake. We are getting 5-10 calls a day of people asking where their product is that have fallen for these. Honestly, these prices are below our cost. As you can see we have reported over 500 ads that have been created showcasing this.

    Thanks

Rainy river would be my top suggestion, but between those 2, pool 2. With it being all CR and the much lower pressure definitely opportunity to catch big fish.

Looks like today the barricades are just moved off to the side. The south ramp seems to have been cleaned up a bit as well

Received a response from WindRider this AM. Proper size bibs en route along with a call tag for the bibs that were too large. Now I am awaiting colder weather to firm up and deepen the local ice pack.

Sorry for the delay on the call back. Between the shortened week for Christmas and New Years we fell a bit behind on the customer service requests. Thanks for the order and I hope we can do better for you in the future.

    Thanks
    Robert

We used https://www.reloutdoors.com/ last year. They were brand new ice castles – everything was clean, they had a Biff setup closeby. I was out there with my 6yr old son and 2 year old daughter, we caught some crappies, nothing huge, but enough fish to keep the kids entertained for a bit. We only did an overnight (were trying to gauge how my daughter would do). We were in a 16ft, I think I would try and book the 17ft next time, so we could have had the microwave (for like popcorn for the kids) and a bit more space.

One thing I didn’t think about, was water for “other things” We brought water to drink, but then used dishes for breakfast in the morning and had to use drinking water to wash those. If we had stayed longer, I would have had to run in to get some more jugs of water.

I was pleased with it though, everything was ready to go, clean and warm when we got there. If I was by myself, I probably would have tried to check out some other areas to fish as well, but if just trying to do a sleeper on Minnetonka I would recommend it

I have both the perch and walleye sweetheart. I prefer the perch 90% of the time. If I was catching bigger walleyes than the max 20-21in that I do, maybe the walleye sweetheart would be better, but if I had to choose just one it would be the perch.
