Congrats and good luck! That rifle look like an awful lot of fun to shoot!

It is! It is a TS Customs build and my first suppressed rifle and it is, without a doubt, my favorite rifle to shoot by far. There’s little to no felt recoil or muzzle flip and the suppressor makes it sound like someone stomping on bubble wrap on a wood floor.

One thing I didn’t know about titanium suppressors is that when they’re machined small pieces of titanium get left behind in the internal baffles. I point this out because titanium powder is used in fireworks to make the shower of sparks.

During the first couple firings things can be a little…startling…for the uninitiated…lol

Let’s just say I was more than a little surprised the first time I pulled the trigger.

As luck would have it my buddy was behind me taking pictures and nailed a good one of what I’m talking about.

After about 4 rounds the show was over as the heat from each of the firings burned off the remnant titanium.

My daughter went to hugh school with Travis. He has built a good business at a young age, I have heard nothing but good about his work.

The Lacrosse Alphaburly boots also come with a side zipper. Scheels carries them.

To those of you that have them, do they feel like they have good arch support? I have been thinking about them for ice fishing and deer hunting as mentioned but I have bad feet, Planters and an old injury, just wondering before I buy a pair.

I have a pair of 1600 gm as far as arch support goes they are average like most boots, IMO. I have used SOLE insoles for years in all of my foot wear because I also have battled planter fasciitis for years.

I have a Cabelas auto inflatable and wearing 98% of the time. I have taken it off a time or 2 when it was really hot and were using the bow mount. It is uncomfortable for me when I am wearing a heavy coat because it tends to bunch up at the back of my neck, but I wear it.
IMHO you would never get it over your head if it has deployed so I am guessing thats why it must be worn to be legal.

Correct on the freeze route, however I had over 20 spots she froze the year before which is why she had me use Efudex.

I used Efudex with Calcipotriene .005% in January for 5 days. The Calcipotriene is added to reduce usage to 5 days instead of 2 weeks plus w/o it. I used it twice a day and by the first application on day 3 I could tell where the sun spots were located by the burning it created. By day 4 the worst of the sunspots started oozing and bleeding and that continued for an additional 5 or 6 days. Scabs began forming on those spots which for me was my temples and cheeks and took about 2 weeks to heal to the point where I started to look healthy/normal again. I wasn’t able to use my cpap starting day 5 because it just burned on my temples, I went a week w/o the cpap, I ruined 2 pillow cases from bleeding/oozing. I do believe it helped as I had a spot on my temple that was crusty and now is smooth, the other obvious spots appear much better. I see the dermatologist in a couple of months and will see what she has to say. The dermatologist had me apply a light coat of petroleum jelly about an hour after applying Efudex to help keep my skin moist and I do think it helped.I did take a couple of pictures of my face to show her if she wants me to use it again and I will ask about other options. It was a miserable couple of weeks. Remember the skin damage we see now was caused by the sun when we were kids, I’m 67. Its about 2 months since I completed the treatment and my skin is still pink where it was applied but smooth and was told it will take 2-3 months to completely heal.

I have a set of Guide Wear Xtreme from Cabelas. I am very happy with it and there is enough insulation to keep warm in the temperatures you describe, you will need to layer some.

I’m not necessarily against this…but if people are free to carry without the permit it should be everywhere, not “everywhere but places where lawmakers work.”

That vote wreaks of hypocracy. “More people will carry guns per the second amendment and it will help people protect themselves. However, you carrying a gun in my place of work is a risk. None allowed.”

I am a SD resident and have a concealed carry permit and I have no problem with being required to apply for a permit. I agree that Stace Nelson’s reasoning wreaks of hypocrisy. You can conceal carry anywhere in SD except where lawmakers work? It makes no sense too me, once again lawmakers putting themselves above citizens.

These guys are the #1 Skeeter boat seller in the nation for no reason!
A few years back that title was solid with the dealership across the road from the factory in Texas.

Glad they blew away your expectations Bill.

I guess I wasn’t clear, it was not Skeeter Boat Center it was Skeeter Boats the manufacturer. Although I understand SBC is an excellent dealer from everything I hear.

Chevy also has a lot of cutouts underneath the box rail to reduce weight. You can buy a kit to plug those holes or just use foam rubber. Any pickup box that is closed tight, a relative term, is a dust magnate. Use the tail gate seal as well you cannot completely reduce dust but you can reduce it.

I have Guidewear and really like it. My son texted me this morning asking about Huk as he found 1/2 price rain wear on hukgear.com. 1/2 price is always good.

I received one for Christmas last year and I like it. The only time its uncomfortable is when I have a heavy coat on and it feels bulky behind the neck as Art said in another post. Thats a great price.

As a taller guy i would like to see the front seat base back about 6″ going through the front of the rod storage. I don’t think you’d lose much storage as the door could stay the same length and horseshoe around the pedestal base. this is my only complaint in my 2190 that the seat is so far forward i feel cramped when fishing from the bow while seated.

it could look like the picture attached.

I am only 5″7″ and the bow seat is too close for me while using the foot pad. Using the foot pad is my preference and it would have been a deal breaker for me if I had noticed it before buying the WX 2060 this spring. There is plenty of room to move the seat base back 6″ or so even if the rod locker cover needs to be shortened up.
