    Very similar to a super-doo look. And the walleye and sauger like them when vertical jigged.

    Our thoughts are with you Dean. Jane and I are going through the same thing in the Quad City area in Illinois. Keep the faith. My hair will be all white instead of red after the water goes up and down. Raised the house after the 1993 flood and thought we had it whipped. Now it could be close.     Pretty slow in Pool 16 for my boat also. Fished some fantastic looking spots with few results. Four inch visibility. Flow seemed fast on wingdams. Water levels are starting to come down. I must say it was a beautiful day on the water.

    Foggy and calm this morning. Fished downriver. Two saugers in the 18 inch range. One catfish and one spoonbill. Spoonbill went 36-40 inches. Jigging plastics in 17 ft of water. Also trolled double rapalas on a threeway rig. It was a wonderful day on the water.

    Thanks guys for the info. Pool 16 dropped to rock bottom a month ago so I was not sure about pool 4. Jane keeps the cookies under lock and key until the hotdogs are out after saugerama. Looking forward to the trip.

    Been casting #13 floating rapalas for years across wingdams. Quality of fish is hard to believe. Not a lot of numbers but lots of green pigs. No question when these big girls smash these lures.
