    Sold my 165 Escape and now have this V14 with a 20. Soon as the ice is off the lakes I will give it a try.

    Bought a new V14 a month ago. Put a 20 Yamaha on it. Got it setup with seats, sounder etc. Can’t wait to try it but it will be a couple more weeks till the ice is off the lakes here.

    Its plenty fast enough for me with the 40. Also the 40 has an option of emergency rope start, I don’t think you get that with an Etec 50.

    I ended up buying it with a 40 Etec. It runs great with it. With 2 people it maxes out around 27 mph.

    First time out with the 2019 Escape 165. Runs great with a 40 Etec.
