On our lakes you need floats on your atv or snowmobile if you want to take them on the ice. I imagine it’s not for safty as much as they don’t want them on the bottom of the lake. Mike

What about if I choose not to have the item deleted after it is installed as propted when you go through the steps to put it on the SD card? I only ask because my computer is at work therefor I could only do 1 a day. Mike

Hey thanks for the tip. I found a map of Escanaba. You don’t happen to remeber if the DNR station is on the South end of the lake in a bay do you? I see there is a landing there and was just wondering if that is the same place you get the pass. Thanks again. Mike

I’ve already rewired a new inline set up that takes a fuse like the ones in vehicles and not the little glass inline fuse. What would you recommend for this set-up?

Pfleuger Presidents!!! I am selling all my shimano’s and switching em to Pfleugers. So smooth and well balanced. Do yourself a favor, and try one before you make a decision.

Mainly I want to know if waypoints can be shared between the two units. I’m thinking of getting a 104. Thanks. mike

I just got back buying some from walmart. Didn’t ever think they would carry quick silver. They had filters too!.

Pflueger was bought out by shakespeare a couple of years ago and revamped their line-up. I bought a president by Pflueger last year and has been on my go to rod since. I used to buy only shimano. Nothing too high end, symetre and sahara, and while they are good reels the president just gets one more star. Ultra smooth. Go and try one. The handle just seems to have a perfect center of balance when it spins, something I always felt lacked in the shimano’s. Smooth, smooth, smooth. I was never to impressed with the Mitchell just on dry runs at the store.

Summed up, at least try a Pflueger before you decide. Everyone has their preference. mike
