August 23, 2011 at 1:03 am #108983My guess
The Whitetail deer life expectancy is up to 15 years, but the average is 2 years for males and 3 years for females in the wild.Whatsa
August 21, 2011 at 7:26 pm #108927Why can’t deer live to 13 in the wild? People don’t live to be one hundred very often either but on occasion.
Do you have proof that the deer was pen raised.March 16, 2011 at 2:51 pm #102515I’ve seen this one other time, about 10 years ago we found a bear den, with a bear in it during the gun season.
That bear decided to make like a big bird nest in a swamp with a lot of canary grass pulling the grass up around him with just the top of his back sticking out of the top. That bear didn’t like the fact that we found him. He jumped and ran, thank god away from me.
Trust me you are not going to out run a bear is he decided to come your way. It was amazing how fast he was. He didn’t go around stuff either they go straight throw the tangled up mess with out slowing down.
WhatsaJanuary 21, 2011 at 1:46 pm #928696Can I run it that way forever with no harm or do I need to put the plug back in.

Controlling Populations….good question…we need another war…..or new disease to control us…..maybe…. Just fuel for thought….it’s nature way and it will happen at some point.

October 7, 2010 at 3:20 pm #902826I saw someone launching out of Prescott yesterday….The water is still in the parking lot but it looked like a few are using it still.
October 5, 2010 at 1:00 pm #87638You never mention how old your youth is? Average size? I think I would hing on the 7mm o8. I believe it a much better all around caliber. He’d never need to have another rifle. My son is not very big and he shoots my 308 well. The 7mm 08 is very comparable to a 308. They don’t have much if any more recoil.
WhatsaSeptember 23, 2010 at 1:10 pm #86292First week with the new camera….I’m lovin it!! Look like the bear came in 18 minutes after the 11 pointer shows up. Get out of there Mr Bear!!
August 19, 2010 at 4:54 pm #894480Most of you will laugh….but my Neti Pot. If you have allergies, I’d suggest you try it. There are days when my allergies are really bad and you don’t even want to leave the house. I’ve only used it for a week now….but it works great for me. Anything that makes my outdoor experience better is worth a try.
August 13, 2010 at 11:47 pm #893269I also agree 100% it’s an awesome feeling when you release the tanks!!!!!
August 13, 2010 at 11:19 pm #893268I’m personally, am not big on replica’s guy, and I don’t know the situation on the boat. Don’t get me wrong. I practice and preach CPR also. I just don’t think we should condemn and make some of the comments that were made in this post. The fish looks healthy in the picture but like other have said in this post, with these warm of waters it may not have made it??? SO do none of you Musky guys fish during this period of the year knowing that you are killing ever fish that you pull out of the water with these warm waters….again I’m not a musky guy….just going off the comments made in this post. I’m sure you can cradle them and release many of them in the water. But I got to believe some of these fish get a hooked in the gill and are bleeding pretty bad…. what do you do? Throw it back and hope it makes it. I do believe there are many more large fish because of the effort you muskie guys have made to the sport.
I’m just saying think about what you are posting and how you would feel catch this trophy and then reading some of the thing that were posted here.Whatsa
August 13, 2010 at 6:55 pm #893219Maybe KARE 11 screwed it all up, maybe he is laughing at the article also knowing all long that it wouldn’t be a state record. I didn’t see it air on TV, reading the article and knowing fish….I’d never relate just missing a state record by and inch. It would be a weight because we all know all fish are not created equal. I don’t know musky that well but I’d guess a 50″ fish could very in weight maybe up to 15 lbs depending on the lake that it’s caught on. If I caught one that big I’d want it weighed on a certified scale. I wouldn’t doubt KARE 11 added a little twist to the story to get more views.
I think some of you need to cut the guy a break….it’s a trophy fishWhatsa
August 13, 2010 at 3:09 pm #893130You don’t know the situation. Maybe this is this guys dream fish. I know it’s mine. I’ll be putting anything over 50″ on the wall. I sure hope this guy isn’t a memebr of IDO, if he is he won’t be long. The fish may have been injured during the fight. Posts like this do IDO no good in my opinion. Why should I give any information about what I’ve caught or what techniques are working, if I’m going to get ripped to shreds by some of you. I’ve caught and released 25 walleye this year over 26″…..but you know what. I kept one that I gill hooked and I didn’t think has going to make it and I’m going to put it on the wall. It wasn’t the biggest fish I have ever caught, but it will look very nice on the wall. I guess I should have thrown it back in your eyes. It might have made it or it might not have, chance are it wouldn’t have if you’d seen the gills, it is my right to keep it, and shouldn’t need to worry about posting the fish on IDO.
Please watch what you post and think of others that enjoy this sight.Whatsa
August 13, 2010 at 2:42 pm #893116POST LIKE THIS MAKE ME SICK!!!!
You guys better not ever keep a fish. Can’t you be happy for the guy. It’s a 50+ inch fish…..that is a trophy and worthy for the wall for anybody, and to make a statement that he isn’t a real fisherman because he’s fishing out of a pontoon. I think everyone here deserves an apology for that statement.Whatsa
August 11, 2010 at 2:01 pm #892512I think your asking for trouble if you get caught. SO all I need to do every time I come back from fishing is grind them up into patties and freeze them….Now they are patties now I don’t have a limit of fish in my freezer…..Now I can go catch more….sounds fishy to me…
