I bought one a few weeks ago. I took my time so it would get done right. It took me 7 hrs start to finish. I must say this is one sweet fish house.

For most spoons and jigging raps I like a fast snap. They are the easiest to use with cold hands and actually improve action on most lures. Less hardware than a crosslock style as well. However for pimples and rippin raps where there is alot of metal around the eye or if there is a split ring you are better off tying direct or using a crosslock snap.

My suggestion would be to fish small untapped waters and stay away from the groups that may already be out there. Big fish like solitude. Otherwise search likely spots on big water and look shallow. They may be in unlikely places hiding from the crowds and feeding on the thick weeds.
