We were camping at the federal campground on stoney point this past weekend when the wind came up, luckily the boat was tied up in the harbor. I have some pics of the waves, but they don’t show how wild it was, I heard from the park ranger it was blowing at 60+ mph. When it was done there was a 620T and a Lund 1775 tiller that were filled with water, and banging against the rocks on shore by the landing. Both of them took on water while trying to make it in, bilge pumps didn’t keep up.

Its not a bad idea to turn the fuel valve off. The pressure your friend is talking about comes from the fuel in the tank being above the carburator on the engine. There is a little valve connected to a float in the carb that controls the amount of fuel that goes into the engine. It is possible for fuel to push past this valve and then drip into the engine. I turn the valve off on my sleds and atvs when trailering or not in use. However I have friends that leave them on, and never have a problem. Hope this helps you out.

$1000.00 is in the ballpark, actually seems resonable for a dealership. My brother inlaw just spent $1400.00 to do the balljoints plus some other things on the front of his dodge. If you are going to keep the truck for a while don’t go cheap or skip on parts. Just my opinion, good luck.

The FW and I ended up having tripplets the first(and last) time we tried having kids. So I got 3 kids in 1 try.

I don’t have any experience with E TEC’s. I’ve been running Yamaha’s of various sizes since 1990. Have been very happy with their performance, and reliability. The few problems I have had where promptly taken care.

I had the same problem 2 yrs, ago. I called the manufac. about repairing the unit. I was told they don’t repair them, but they gave me $$ for my old charger that went toward the cost of a new unit. May be worth a try.

Check for a good seal between the carb and the engine. Could possibly be sucking in some extra air. Just a quick thought off the top of my head. Good luck !!!
