It seems the network is the change this year different connectors for the net work “red” connectors, that apparently work just fine with the “blue” connectors if you have the proper cable to combine the two. Otherwise you are right, same transducers (blue) and added the eithernet connector, which I haven’t seemed to find any additional use for yet, maybe easier than the older units, but my 111 will still do radar, not that I’ve really looked either.

I called Lowrance Tech support. The new units with the red network connectors will not connect to the Nema network with the blue connectors unless an adapter is used. There is an adapter that will be made but the Lowrance Tech person said they had no availability date yet.Perhaps Wade has more info.
