I had the same thing happen to me on an 898. Motor battery was brand new. Never did figure out why it was happening. I wound up hooking up smaller 12v battery that fits nicely with my trolling motor batteries. This is the kind you’d put in a scooter or 4 wheeler. It seems to work well so far.
