    I warranty my rods and blanks against manufacturing defects and also offer a satisfaction guarantee. If you receive a product you are unhappy with for any reason; return it immediately in unused and resellable condition for a full refund. I don’t recommend that everyone paint their Rod blanks, but it can be done well if you use the right products and apply them in the correct way.

    Thanks for the review of my noodle blank. The new noodle blanks are now in stock. 36″ translucent fiberglass. Slightly Smaller diameter backbone with a hair sensitive tip. $22

    some isolated bays have 5″ of ice. if you go out be extremely careful. ice thickness change change within feet

    i had one, i never noticed it pulling hard. with hifax i’d expect it to pull about the same as any other small sled. it’s pretty light. pack the heaviest things near the back so that the nose can float a little. the seat is pretty bad. super easy to change tho. just about any boat seat will just bolt on.
    i did change houses tho and am very happy. i picked up the clam big mouth full thermal that was an exclusive at gander last year. clam came out with the scout exp this year, which is almost the same thing, but only has a thermal top?? seems like an intentional step back so they wouldn’t be competing with their own premium sleds like the x1

    i think i got mine for $27.99 at the blaine show from kruger farms. hard to beat. the crank is a little “clunky”, but the free spool is the best ive seen so far and the anti reverse is instant

    hmmm, ill have to do some circumference calculating to see the difference i guess. why the f would’t the manufactures just make the spool larger? do they sell line too? i think i smell a conspiracy

    navionics works without a signal as long as you have downloaded the area beforehand. I have most of minnesota and western wisconsin on y iphone 5

    mine has a carry handle stap on the inside so that when you put your hand in the bags handle it is there to lift from the bottom. not sure if that’s what you meant or if thats what marcum intended. mine was setup by the previous owner
