Went out on the 13 th. Got stuck 4 times and had to dig out. Marked a couple fish. 2 to be exact. Caught one all day. The wind was very bad and lost my tire tracks within a couple hours. I’m not giving up so I’m heading back the week of March 16th. Anyone been out lately?

Try freezing the 1 lbs overnight and leave the 40 lb outside to stay warm. Connect them together and flip upside down before turning on the valve. I’ve filled quite a few this way with no issues.

We had a great time last year. We’ll try and make it again.

Anyone been out recently? Is it still no wake?

Cabelas Bargain Cave has Danner Pronghorn and Kestrels on sale for about half off. Only sizes 8 through 9.5 are left.

Picked up a pair of Kestrels and the are great.

” I have found that those 15 and 16 inchers fry up about perfect”. Plant the seed and see what happens

I can’t agree more! Nothing better than fresh walleyes. Most of the fish that were put on my stringer were given to neighbors and the elderly that don’t have the means or the time to go fishing. We did release a few over 20 inches. When the water gets warmer and the quality of fish start to deminish I put away my stringer.

Caught them today. As the weather cooled off so did the bite, but I still made the misses happy for Mother’s Day cause she actually caught more keepers than me.

Always a pleasure fishing with you. Even though the fish did not cooperate as planned it was great to be on the water with good company. Thanks again Jessie.

I saw one just like that at the Kinni on Saturday. Yellow and black just like yours. Don’t know what kind.

Nice to see you on the water again on Saturday. We ended up with six keepers. Dragging worms with 4ft leaders on a plain hook.

Good luck to you this season.

Best part of the fish in my opinion. Taste like crab, very delicate. I saute them with fresh garlic and butter. Becareful not to over cook them or it will turn chewy.

I usually take a knife and cut around the cheek.

JJ, I’ll show you next week.

These guys are great! Got a Schaffer rest and an Opposition site from them. I got the wrong color stabalizer and they let me exchange it for the right one.

    Best in customer service.

Can you save me a hoodie in size medium?

The St.Croix River is the only place I fish by choice and this forum is very informative.

I’ve been lurking on the site for some time now and have fished with a couple members so far. I’d like to put faces to some of the names. Great site and Great members.

Got her by accident. Didn’t know they ate crappie minnows.

Can’t wait for the fall season.
