It’s very sad that this happened but I believe it’s inevitable in every popular body of water. All the safeguards in place today are good but not foolproof. I have bunks on my trailer. I can go to any infested lake, clean it by the book, and still have veligers on the bunk carpet to spread to the next lake. I’ve checked my bunks after sitting out of water for 5 days and they’re still wet under the boat. I’m not in favor of spreading any of this but I believe it’s going to continue.
Equal distance I would choose Devils Lake. You can always find active fish there.
It’s not real close to the Twin Cities, but there’s Tim’s Outboard in Hackensack. I’ve had good luck with them.
I noticed this long decline a few years ago. I’ve been a long time online shopper and Cabela’s was always on my go to list. Even before the merger, ordering certain things became increasingly difficult. Quality of Cabela’s branded merchandise declined and customer service was hard to come by. Fast forward to the merger and everything crashed. The stores I visited in Minnesota were impossible to find what I was looking for. The most common line I got from the employees was “We can order it for you.” If I wanted to order it, I wouldn’t have driven two plus hours to go to the store. Since then I still order online but now, if I want to go to a store to see something, I go to Runnings or Scheels. Fleet Farm is still a place I go but Runnings is in my town. I haven’t ordered from Cabela’s for at least two years. I don’t anticipate that changing anytime soon.
Definitely more than your range, but I have a 2016 Ulterra 80 with I-pilot I’m selling. It’s in great shape. PM if you’re interested.
All of the cabinets are carpeted inside. All of the doors have locks on them and they all work. If I leave the boat in the harbor I would definitely take all my stuff with! It is pretty sad we cant even trust other fishermen…
My 2090 is a 2000 model also and has no dry storage at all. Your boat is 18 years old. I’ve looked into other boat brands and don’t find many that had dry storage 18 years ago. Your boat is designed with a completely open area under the floor. My 2090 has a livewell in front and in back. I chose to completely isolate the front livewell and use it as dry storage. It works fairly well. I added a cap to the drain tube at the back of the boat and put drain plugs in both overflows and the bottom drain hole. I can’t tell from your picture if you have a storage area next to the driver seat. Mine has one and water can get in along the floor and from the back if the water gets high enough. There’s an aluminum strip covered with carpet along the floor around this storage area. It’s held on with screws through the carpet. You could take this strip off, caulk seal around the entire seam, and reinstall the strip to hide the caulk. The hatch door is simply screwed on. You could remove the hatch, caulk behind the screw fin, and reinstall the hatch while the caulk is still soft. These are the only ways you will get dry storage on an old Warrior.
We won’t be seeing this snowflake for a while. He bought a Tracker. He wasn’t seasoned enough to know the plug is his responsibility. His toes got wet so all is lost. The real world didn’t comfort him and agree he couldn’t possibly be at fault. This is the kind of thinking that’s turning our country into a toilet. He’s just another example of thinking he’s owed something because he wasn’t responsible enough to secure his own plug.
Dave do you are saying I should be redponsible for thier error. I know how to lauch a boat. Yes I took off the straps. The dealer put in the plug. So I guess Iam at fault
You must be a Democrat.
Dick, you are 100% responsible for this mishap. You can try to blame the dealer but any court will side with the dealer since keeping the plug in is against the law. This is nothing more than a case of you missing something and trying to get someone else to cover it. Seems to me you are the Democrat.

It’s illegal to transport a boat with the drain plug installed….That’s a MN law. He never said this was in MN.
This is not just a MN law. It’s also a law in North Dakota. I believe South Dakota is the same way.
Why are you selling? I’ve been looking at many different types and am curious about these.

Tournament fishermen are no different than anyone else on the water. They own the exact same amount of water that you do. Give them the same respect you would any other boat and you should be fine. I’ve seen some guys that think they’re entitled to more room or the spot to themselves. Those are the same guys that give tournament fishing a bad name.I have to disagree with the first part of this statement.
We were fishing just for fun once, and found fish on a 9′ contour line and the tournament guys honed in on that and came within inches of my, at the time, aluminum boat. I felt i better get out of the way cause “those guys” had much more expensive boats. After thought, I will never do that again. that’s why i have boat insurance and they better have it as well.
The experience definitely turned me off, and I lost all respect for some, not all, tournament fisherman.
Maybe I need to clarify. When I said tournament fishermen are no different than any other fisherman, I meant they don’t have any special rights or deserve any special treatment. Tournament fishermen should actually be setting an example of how to act on the water.

Boat dealership was nice and quiet-what I wanted, stressful for me to spend big money-Thank you storm, bought a G3! (now should I upgrade to the 50 Yami? comes with a 40)
Now if you want to have some fun, ask them if you can upgrade to a Mercury.
Try Runnings in Monticello. They still have some out in our store so I’m guessing they still have some there also. They have a private label suit that’s on clearance for the same price as most bibs alone.
I would at least take a look at FX Custom Rods, specifically their new line called Xtreme Angler series. These rods feel every bit as good as my St. Croix Legend Tournament rods and only cost between $129-134.00. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how well they perform.
When we’ve gone to Chamberlain in the past, Salmo hornets on leadcore worked best for us. Colors varied depending on weather conditions.
Ultimately it’s your decision. The reality of it is what kind of neighborhood are you in. Are there other pole buildings around you? Are they permitted by your city? Are you in a higher priced neighborhood? How long are you planning on staying at your residence? These are main questions to start with. If you’re in a high end neighborhood, then a pole shed should not be considered. If no one else has one, then you should not consider a pole shed. Pole sheds have their place, but it’s not usually in town. A stick framed garage will easier to finish, match your residence, and cost close to the same. There’s very little difference in finished cost until you get over 12′ in height.
I like the tangy flavor added by the mercury
Because that’s the only body of water in the world with a mercury problem.
Check your fuel line. Some fuel lines delaminate on the inside from ethanol.
It was his right to take a knee instead of stand. It would be my right to boycott any event he was part of. This is why he has not been signed, far too many people would boycott whoever signs him. Revenue is the only driving force for these owners. Winning means nothing if your fans won’t pay to watch you win.
If I was looking to move up there, I’d want to be on Lake Ida. Miltona would be high on the list also. Mary would be another great choice.
That’s some great advertising there. I see a great future in a major marketing firm.
Seriously, when I’m looking for something for sale and the seller can’t even take the time to post a decent picture of the item, I can’t seem to find the time to show any interest in it either. To me, it hints at something that probably wasn’t taken care of.
Fred’s Bait in Deer River. Tutt’s Bait in Garrison. And, of course, the others mentioned already. I didn’t think I had been to that many bait shops until I saw all the names.
Any power cord with the blue end will work. It’s been the same for a lot of years.
Found it. The color name is galaxy glitter and I found one site that has them. Thanks for the help.
