That guy is a class act. He has helped me out in a pinch before and I am not a regular customer. He has gone the extra mile to help people he doesn’t know at all really means a lot. I now tell everyone that has an Evinrude they should use this guy for any service needs.

Not only that, Pool 3 is out since the lock is on the MN side. Unless tourneys leave from MN.

Indeed it is a carp. From what I gather it a European sub-species slightly different from the common Asian carp.
This particular fish is most often referred to as a mirror carp by fish biologists.

I just wanted to let you know about the city campground in Ortonville. It is first come first serve. The only downfall is there is only one place for electricity that is shared between two sites. Other wise it is a great place to stay. and cheep, I think it is about $10.00 a night.

    Thanks everyone,

I am using the Cabelas 9′ teloscoping rods now, but have had bad luck with the tips breaking. Broke 2 last summer in the same place. Just below the second guide.

I am going to order the Wild river blanks tonight so I have some time to wrap them before the season.

Thanks again and keep the replies coming.

Don, I was Quentin M’s. partner last year on the MWT.
The new schedule looks great! I just wish I could fish it again this year. I think we are going to fish a couple MTT, WWA, and GNWC.
I moved away and I don’t want to commit to fishing an entire circuit, otherwise we would be on the roster already.
