Today I learned how to put my own worms on the hooks, how to release the smaller fish (with out using the pliers) and how to put hooks on the snaps. Ms. Cheri is a great teacher
I get to go fishing with Ms. Cheri tomorrow and on Monday, she is borrowing a boat for the weekend. We plan on fishing for bluegills. Have a good weekend everyone. I graduated from pre-K today and starting next week, me and my other friend from school get to spend the summer with Ms. Cheri. We plan on doing lots of fishing then. Bye
Ms. Cheri took my uncle Greg to Fowler Lake yesterday, and he didn’t do so well (he has alot to learn from Ms. Cheri). I had to call him when I got home to rub it in that I did so well.
With Ms. Cher’s help I’ll try to help you. Ms. Cheri gave me a little kids pole last year – a spiderman one. I liked it. But this year I am going on a real fishing trip with a guide and he said I should learn how to use a grown up pole because the walleyes would break my spiderman one. So Ms. Cheri game me an ultra lite to practice with first (in the yard) and then I got to use one of her bigger poles once I did well enough. Now I can practice with me new pole and give my brother my spiderman one (he always wants to do what i am doing). To help with casting and reeling back in, Ms. Cheri would tie on a heavy lure like a musky lure or a heavy sinker (no-roll 4oz) she said she got from BrianK. By the time my trip comes up in June, I’ll be ready. Hope that helps.
This picture is from Ms. Cheri’s birthday. Me and my friends spent the morning at my friend Jackson’s house to make a cake for the grow-ups and cup cakes for us kids and then we surprized Ms. Cheri with a party from all of us kids (and our parents).
We finally got around to put up Ms. Cheri’s fishing shelf and I got to pick things out to fill my tackle box. Mom’s says she has too much stuff. But thats because mom doesn’t fish. I really liked the hat with the big fish on the front and Ms. Cheri said she has two so I now have a IDA hat to wear when I go fishing.
