Yeah, I have an old LMS 350A which I have not used lately, but it would lose the correct time and I noticed satelite acquisition was slower as well. I know GARMIN had fixes posted on their site prior to 3-11 for various units, but I did not see anything on the Lowrance site. Right now I would say it is just a curiousity as long as it works.

I just checked again and now it seems fine. It did show the incorrect time, but I manually changed it and disabled the DST.

Man, I knew I came to the right place when I posted my question. Again, many thanks for your insight. I need to be educated on the extensions especially for the back of the boat. Can someone clarify? Also, is there a preferred seller or brand on the rails if I go that route.

All great feedback. Lenny you indicated the rails would be a good choice for flexibility and would reduce hole drilling. A dumb question – wouldn’t you have to drill holes to install the rails or is there another mounting system here. Thanks to all who posted feedback.
