I have not fished it for a couple of years but about 3 years ago I was putting my boat in with my kids and 2 highschool kids were pulling out with a 50″ and a 52″ muskie caught on the same day . A guy I work with caught a 54″ a couple of years back. I know they are in there but that’s about it.

I have to second the vote for Northeraire resort / house boating on crane lake . I have taken my family a couple of times. Once with Ebels out of the Ash river and once with Northeraire on Crane. It was a hoot and you can fish crane, sandpoint, namakin, and kabotegama (my spelling sucks)or if you feel flighty you can use the fairy at kettles falls to put your fishing rig into rainy. One suggestion is not try this with only your family if your family consists of 3 pre teen girls and your wife. If you put one of the house boats up on a rock Not that I did or anything but its tough pulling them off alone. The boats come big enough to accomidate 2 families if you get along O.K.

Thanks for the welcome. Looking forward to reading alot of great posts and putting up a few of my own. I am working on remembering a camera ….Buckshot says it easier to lie without one but I believe that would be against my ethics
    Thanks again

Any thoughts on the Eskimo – Quick flip? I used a friends and although I haven’t fished out of an otter the bench in the Eskimo was handy.
