Like to thank Red Door for a good time. My kids are ready for next season to start, so they can go back up.

Kraig, what time do you plan on going? I have never fished pool 4.

Is there a little plug on the top of the oil cap? The oil cap should have a vent, if there isn’t a vent then it could over pressurize the crankcase area, then it will push out the easiest escape area. With the pumps we sell at the company I work at you can also use desiel engine oil 15w-40w (example is Shell Rotela T 15w-40 with pumps that use 30 weight non-detergent oil. The little valve that is spraying out hot water sounds like a thermo relief valve and they do go bad if they pop off so many times, they go off when water temps reach a certan tempature usally around 140 deg F. If you let the pressure washer run for over a minute to a minute and a half without squeezeing the gun it will heat up fast. If you would like please send a photo to me and I’ll take a look at what you have.

From the console. I also do lighted bobber fishing on Mille Lacs alot, so I think I’m going to put it even with the back seat. Thanks everyone for the help.

TG002 thanks for the answer but if you were to have to pick the back mount or by the front seat which would you pick? Normally it is just two in the boat when we are trolling and I have the 1700.

Thanks guys. I use the license holder on my Voyager and I’ll try it on the Guide, just wasn’t sure if there was any thing else out there.

All this is going to do is make people cautious on helping , and because of this someone will parish when they could have been saved.

When I first got mine I heard the same thing, I called Jiffy and they said that was normal. I have not had any problems with mine and it is two years old.

Red Door has nice sleeper, my opinion, and when we stayed there last year it was the only time I caught walleyes during the ice season.

Good luck next time. Looks like you need to ask for a light for the flag at Christmas
