Jamin, you can buy just the insert if you already have the case. It can fit 4 rods with reels and no need to fold the handles plus 2 extra rods without reels and Tackle storage boxes. Send an email request to [email protected] to order.

How much would you need to trade for a LX9?

I’ll try and get one started. Give me a moment and see what I can come up with.

I’m on the fence about the bench. I usually fish with my brother and once in a while one or both my boys. Seats are nice when there’s only 2 of us, cause I have the Sportsman caddy as well. I’ll think more about it and let you know. Measurements would be nice.

I thought about doing that but it won’t fit a Pro sled. I contacted Otter about it.

Guess when I move around from hole to hole, lake bottom is changing too, so I have to adjust my settings anyway. I don’t get bent out of shape over it, I do what’s needed to make it work. I understand your frustration, I spent the $ just like everyone else. Yes it would be nice to have things changed to more user friendly. But if they are not releasing it just yet, means there’s technical issues needed to be fixed first.

Not sure why some are having problems with shallow water. I use my lx7 in 3.5ft depth and have no problem.

Center pick in hole, just under surface of water, in open water mode, adjust your sensativity and target adjust, 20 on cone angle. Just need to play around with settings. No update needed thus far.

Fleet farm or any farm related store has the castration pliers that make it real easy.

I use 32” Noodle in my Otter Lodge and hole hopping. When it comes to grip, I prefer split grip for panfish. Because of the light bites and small jigs. Just like Kent said, it all comes down to personal preference.

Tuned Up Custom Rods will have arms in the near future. We can get you hooked up. fishrman the arms have a bushing that works for Humminbird or Vexilar. Comes with arm, just have to state what machine you have.

We stayed at the Best Western in Port Clinton. The parking lot fills fast with trailers but even with just a truck full of gear you don’t really have much to worry about. Being there’s so many rigs and rooms right there, guys will be checking on anything going on outside.

We launched at the one just NE of Magee Friday and wasn’t bad. Landing do fill fast in the AM. Guys were talking about getting to the launch by 530-6 just fir a spot to park.

As Andy said the night bite just wasn’t that great. My group stayed out til 10pm and didn’t have as much luck after 6pm and all but a couple groups had left the by 5-530pm.

We had luck using just the shiner head on #3 glow jiggin rap or rattle spoons with either a head or whole shiner.

Coming from Minnesota through Chicago without an I pass, be ready with lots of one dollar bills and quarters. Make sure to watch the signs of paying with cash. If you miss the toll, it’s toll fee plus $20 for a certain time frame and then goes up. If you remember the toll gate number you can go online and pay without the penalty.

I asked the same question when I looking at the Honda 4stroke. Was told that the 4 stroke wouldn’t be a great idea but any 2 stroke would fine to switch bits. With that said straight from strikemaster, you should be fine with getting a chipper bit.
