I was blessed with an incredible opportunity earlier this month to return to the sporting goods industry by becoming the National Sales Manager at Robinson Outdoor Products aka Scent Blocker. Believe it or not it was a very tough decision, After 13 years I’ve come to consider all my work mates at Hastings Ford true family. I’ve enjoyed helping customers with their financial needs and many of them have become great friends as well. I’m looking forward to this new chapter and getting back to my passion for the great outdoors.
Thanks to the many IDO’ers who have trusted me with their vehicle purchases.March 25, 2015 at 9:37 am #1526959Suzuki, Same issues with the Fords as Doug said with the Chevys, I would stay away from them unless you plan to service (clean and lube) them every other oil change. 50% of the trades we have come in have one side or the other in-op
October 21, 2014 at 1:26 pm #1465955Thanks for looking me up, Give me some other must haves like miles and ball park that you want to be in for purchase price. I have a few available and 2 of them have 8′ boxes. give e a ring at 651-214-8875 and I will get you taken care of.

May 14, 2014 at 7:11 am #1410243we were having the EXACT same issues on a buddies 200 opti. It was a low voltage issue. check you connections. one semi loose wire could cause the problem.

December 27, 2013 at 7:43 am #1351889Here is the Coyote hat I had made at Foxx in Duluth with the dog I shot last year, great guys to work with and they did a great job. I am getting my wife a pair of coyote slippers made for her birthday with a really white coyote a shot a couple of weeks ago.
November 12, 2013 at 10:10 pm #133890Federal definition of baiting (waterfowl are Federally controlled) vs state definition of baiting (for state controlled critters)
November 12, 2013 at 10:03 pm #133889neck, the first few cuts during the skinning process (top or bottom) always have lots of hair flying around by the time you roll it down from the top your mostly pulling the hide and have less hair on the best cuts of meat.
ford vs chevy anyone obvously both ways work well.November 11, 2013 at 1:47 pm #133825everyone has to start somewhere. Im as blood thirsty as anyone but good ol Dad showed me the ropes on how to do it right and enjoy the experiance. If he really is a good friend show him how to do it right. If he’s not that good of friend help him find a place of his own and show him how to do it right.
November 6, 2013 at 9:27 pm #1204272damn got to work till 8 at least(damn car business) otherwise I’d be in. let me know when the next ones on the books
sounds like a good timeNovember 4, 2013 at 11:32 pm #133586Ok Ill bite. Like Suzuki said its a pretty loaded question and I only speek from my own experiances. I have tried 4 different foods in the 11 years since I brought home a wiggly ball of black fir named Madison.
1. purina.. seemed like the thing to do at the time with my first puppy and all.
2. ukanuba.. never had a nice shiney coat with purina so made the switch to a more “premium” food. she did well
3. diamond.. sick of paying so much for a “premium” food tried it liked it
4. Nutro. had my dogs trained at Cannon River Kennels they recomended it as the best Premium food for the money. I have to agree been feeding it for almost 5years and she is going great. Just got back from 8 days of hard hunting in ND for ducks, geese and pheasants. She hunted hard every day, 2days of couch time after we got back and she is ready to go again. Not bad for 11 years oldOctober 16, 2013 at 4:11 pm #132827I totally agree Randy, Them dogs work their butts off for us through the years and only expect a bowl of food and the occasional pat on the head. Madison is 11 now and I can tell you it will be a sad day around the house when her time comes.
October 14, 2013 at 6:39 pm #1327511. Madison and Willow
2. Madison on a long blind retrieve
3. Shady,Wollow,Madison,Keka,Logan after a diver shoot in ND
4. Madison in ND
October 14, 2013 at 6:27 pm #132750I have an 18 yr old daughter who loves to hunt. I got a couple nice spots on 3 and 4 I could take you. I also own a house in Nd. where is your land located?
October 1, 2013 at 5:48 pm #132321I have never had a properly conditioned collar trained dog blow out on a good nic during a chase situation. Put the dog in a chase or out of range situation at the park or something (non hunting) and nic her when she is out of range do this a few times and you will never have a problem in the field.
