    Right it is a 40v.
But nothing explains my problem in the owners manual. So I was looking at the 24v to see if had an explanation for the 7 or 8 beeps I get.
In my owners manual 40v the closest Statement is. Protection of Over Current.
But I get a lot more beeps than 1. In the manual the remedy is to Release the trigger, lift and continue cutting. So that’s what I have been doing. It seems to happen too often though.

There has been less than a foot of ice on most lakes.
I would not think that the auger is getting loaded up.

So I went out to the local pond to drill some holes.
25 degrees no wind good testing conditions.
Ice is about 10 inches.i drilled 10 holes with the original blades and it worked fine. On the 11th try the motor stopped. And beeped 7 or 8 times. Beeps are pretty fast so tough to count. 12th hole went fine. 13th hole motor stops. 6 or 8 beeps. 14th hole stopped
7 or 8 beeps 15th hole went fine.
Conclusion the blades are good. According to the manual its most likely a Hall issue. I’ve never heard of a hall before. Again I have drilled less than 120 holes and its about 1 year old.

    Hot hands, during winter.
In the car, truck, bucket or everywhere. The weather can turn on you, the equipment breaks down- these heat packs can keep you from getting frostbite.

So I was contacted by Chris at Strikemaster. He thought the problem was dull blades, he said that 90% of the issue’s with the 40v are caused by dull blades. Chris told me to go buy new blades
This is a new auger with less than 100 holes drilled.
None the less I went to Scheels got some new blades.
I will test them out Saturday morning. I will drill 10 holes with the old blades then 10 with the new
    Stay tuned.

    10″ clear Mille lacs ice.
    8″ auger it just stops.
So I pull it up a bit restart and finish drilling the hole.
I have a call into Rapala/Strikemaster but they will call back in 24hrs.
Where to I take it to get serviced?

Nice ironH, the only pink on the Pontoon was a pink paddle tail. It was tough keeping that pontoon on the drift however, we did manage to put some nice male Eyes back in the river. We will be back!

TD I am sure it’s a task to keep 10-14 shooters under control. It just takes 1 or 2 wise guys to screw up a shoot. For the most part the Guides do a great job of making sure that their customers have a quality shoot.
The laws are the laws if you violate them over time you will get busted. It’s in the guides best interest to keep everything on the up and up.
My real point was that the public blind hunters get a bad rap for sky bustin and what not, when its just a few that need education. Goose/Waterfowl hunters need to keep a positive attitude toward all types of hunting for the betterment and continuation of the sport.

M_M Sorry for snapping at ya! It’s just that I have lost too many hunting spots to urbanization.
I have hunted these public blinds for 20 years and have had a great time killing geese from them.
The more hunting opportunities we can maintain or create the better off we all are.
If we don’t guard our resources, the next thing you know they will have Boy/Girl Scouts out shaken eggs as a norm.

Waterfowling is a dying sport in MN, there are less WF hunters in MN every year. M_M for you to suggest restricting
Hunting opportunities (Eliminating public goose blinds)is very counter productive for the preservation of the sport.
Do not sit there and tell me that public blinds are filled with sky busters or worse, thats bull! Ask the wardens where they write more tickets every season. You will find that private/leased land fills the DNR bank accounts faster than
the public blind areas do. Besides there only 4 or 5 public blinds left. These blinds should be kept open as long as possible to ensure Goose hunting opportunities for everyone.
M_M There is nothing those tree hugging Greenpeace types like better than a hunter trying to limit access or restrict their own hunting opportunities.
Think on that before you contribute to the demise of your own sport.

While traveling to my duck hunting spots in shallow water less than 2 ft. I have to order my 80lb GR to the front of the boat “Front of the boat” it kicks the prop off the mudd a few inches. it helps! While running my dog has learned that if he rides the bow he might get air born. I think it only took a few waves, where Riley was air born, about 6in or so off the deck, to realize that the best place to ride while running in my 14ft jon 25hp merc was by my feet. The more time you spend with your dog in the boat the more they will understand the rules.
The thing is, you always have to keep an eye on them. because like Brianc said dogs get focused on things, real or imagined, then they bolt or jump or dash
Glad to hear your dog is ok!

you could have done better was to take me fishing

Spug a lot of people that fish with 2 lines do not pay attention to that 2nd line as much, so I think that the fish might have more time to swallow the bait therein sustaining a life threatening injury, when the hook is removed. So I am concerned that more fish will get their guts ripped out as to the numbers of fish caught or limits taken with 2 lines.
    Never waste a good fish.

We will catch more fish with 2 lines, we will damage more fish with two lines. 2 lines will contribute to the degradation of the fishery!
We don’t need two lines for inland fishing.
If your looking for change then BAN LEAD!!
