I was considering a fuel caddy myself but I decided against because of the weight.
Instead I bought a AA battery fuel pump. Screws onto a 5-6 gal gas can and has a 4.25′ hose and auto shut off.
Refueling a boat with a 6 gal can is a PITA.
This Terra pump has solved it all!

Love it! Haven’t had wet feet since I installed it. No more carrying rubber boots.

We have Chicago Cutlery that the wife decided to switch to about 10 years ago, there was nothing wrong with the older Chicago Cutlerly, just wanted a different style.
Seriously, I don’t know how anyone could wear out any set of knifes in a lifetime under normal use.

Mudhole that is fantastic mileage out of those tires. I’ve never had anything even come close.

You’re going to be better off listing it on craigslist and facebook marketplace. That’s where all the hot buyers will be looking, and they will be starting to look now.

Aluminum has gone up a lot. If your canoe is brand name and in decent shape you could start out around $700. I bought a 94 Alumacraft 17′ for $500 new, sold it about 5 years ago for $700.

    30+ years old??? Leaking?
You need to get that heater replaced NOW, if not sooner.

If I had to do it again I would use the mount that fishing specialties sells. AS a matter of fact I probably will just buy that one next spring.
What I have found with the universal mount is it is a huge PITA to unscrew and rescrew the knobs every time you want to change fishing locations.

3 of us fished out of the Red Door Monday and Tuesday. Total fish was 4 walters (1 keeper) 2 pike, and 1 nice smallie.
Granted, we only fished about 6 hrs each day but bite was crazy slow for this time of year. Tried everything, saw lots of fish on the graphs, their bellys must have been full.

    Thanks for the reply Michael.
Yes, both units will be connected to the ethernet netword along with the ulterra. The ulterra has a heading sensor of its own, will that also take the place of a seperate one for the 360?

Probably going to also have to pick up the adapter cable to go from main ethernet cable to locator head.

As the grouse and others have said:
You can figure out other savings to make up for gas if you need to. But let me know how you’re going to buy more time.

I certainly will not let the price of gas affect my “tomorrow”.
My wife and I will turn 70 this year. A year and a half ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Thankfully God has allowed the chemo treatments to stop the progression for now and we are able to continue with our fishing trips, 5 booked so far this summer to LOTW and Canada -)
The main message I guess is you can be blindsided with something like this in a heartbeat, so try not to take tomorrow for granted. If at all possible don’t let the political BS fallout change what you love to do, for as long as you can do it.

The 19 grains of hardness is not bad, any softner can handle that, but the 3 parts iron is pretty bad. People used to put an iron filter first before the softner in those cases. I am not familiar with “whole house” systems and what is included.
