No personal experience other than making parts for them but the silencer central banish 30 line is a multi caliber line. Might be worth a look at for you.

Summit fishing equipment…their pole scotty ram ball and ram arm…can’t really troll w it bc its not sturdy enough but it keeps it portable
being the worst of the best or best of the worst however u look at it…the time has come…to blow it up.
Cap hell ditch some money gets some picks in a deep draft class maybe a prospect or 2 that cant be worse than what we have going on right now…suck for a couple years and maybe by year 4 of kaprizovs deal there is a light at the tunnel and they some how con him into staying. Kid is so fun to watch even during an abysmal performance like the last 2 games. Hard to ditch any money though when most guys look like a DUMBA-ss
Yes it was night and day difference for me and I had a tiller so even lighter than your setup and I was actually kind of impressed. New models are 10x better than old models
Had the same issue on a 17ft tiller. Older model powerdrive v2 with the ipilot add on. Buy a new motor. It is night and day difference as far as GPS goes in the board on them. I spot locked nose to the wind in some fairly turbulent water considering the boat and I did not move an inch. My new one also does not have the oversteer/over correct problem that sometimes would dang near throw you over. If you don’t already deff upgrade to a 24v. Terrova would be the way to go if you can swing it but I didn’t and just went with a new powerdrive and believe me it is 100% night and day difference. Worst case try a new motor if you aren’t satisfied and want a new boat you already have a new motor
Vline ninja noodle is an awesome blank for big fish and big baits. It’s fiberglass could easily stiffen the tip by trimming a little off if you’d like. This is a very unique blank that has more flex due to it being glass that helps keep hooks pinned. Used them on multiple trips to Winnipeg with bigger heavier baits.
Vline blank for sure far superior than mhx imo
#8 or 10 match spinning guide followed by wire fly guides size 4
Cam Talbot right now
This team has looked putrid
Only bright spot was boldys 3rd period…
6″10″ Elliot mlxf is an awesome jig pitching rod I absolutely love it. Very versatile too I’ve throw 1/4 all the way to 1/16 with it. Will say the immws72ml from rainshadow is an extremely close 2nd. The immortal seems on the softer side of a med light so I tend to use that for 1/8 and less but will handle larger. I 2nd the high frame guides, if you want black vs the corrosion control or an actual polished frame the American tackle tiforged guides have been nothing short of fuji as well in my experience.
Get a pliers and heat it up and see if you can get the broken blank out of the tip and then see if it will slip over the current end of the blank. You also should make sure the blank itself isn’t fractured or splintered. If it fits you will still need some tip adhesive or you can super glue it but just know if it isn’t straight or happens again there really is no getting it off with super glue
Piscifun reels are not a bad reel at all. I’ve had them on ice rods for 2 seasons now no issues and I ran the carbon x on a spinning rods last summer as well with no complaints. Not sure what the longevity will be with them but they always seem to be on sale at a good price. Time will tell
Looking like another 1 and done…can’t beat st louis and can not figure out why. 9 straight losses? Come on…completely different team with some promise but still the same outcome…maybe ill eat crow alot of time left but…seems like same old same old
How under appreciated and overlooked is Jimmy? He has to be one of the best defenseman in the league just doesn’t put up gaudy numbers on the offensive side
Better off rebuilding it. I don’t think sanding the ceramic is a good idea as it will probably never be as smooth as new. The tip is an easy replacement. Warm it up with a lighter a little and it should pull right off. Measure the I.d. of the tube on the tip and order a new one from mudhole or whomever with some tip top glue.
I have built around 15 rods on their open water blanks and I like them. They have great action. But they have been out of stock for almost 2 years now. I am sure you are looking more at their hard water line. The hard water blanks are top notch. Right in line with the blanks that Thorne Brothers, TUCR, JT, DH, … offer. The only difference being the tapper of the blank. Their construction seems to be on par also with the others. The Syncork is a nice material that is lighter than normal cork and will holds up better over the years. Gregg has always been good to work with.
I will 2nd the long rods ive built 8 or 9. Top notch closest thing to my old Loomis I could find power and action wise.
Calgary d men are a perfect example of what the wild don’t have. They’re big and physical while maintaining plenty of speed. I think that game along is proof that it’s going to take more than a Claude girioux or Tomas hertl to get them over the hump.
With that being said do they have a chance? Yes probably not a very high odds chance. However I do think this team could make someone’s life hell for a 7 game series and stir the pot. A hot goalie and anything can happen we all know they can score on most nights.
Regardless they are a fun team to watch, more so than teams of the past. I haven’t noticed myself cussing the TV out nearly as much this season.
Buy a summit pole. Quick connect system. I also have the basstank transducer cover and I put that on and pull the pin to slide the piece that the transducer mounts to and stick the ducer in the side pocket
On a side note how has that nose not been broke? Hell take a turn to sharp and you think the guy would catch that beak
Small sample size but boldy has deff stood out all game. He keeps that up how do you send him down? Rossi has shown flashes but yes he does look nervous out there. Just impressed how boldy doesn’t seem to be getting over powered or bullied. Loved how he called for the puck with the stick tap and finishes on a return from moose
Typical minnesota…forgot how to play the last 3 weeks…what a joke
Go shoot multiple rounds and see which one your gun likes best. Then its pretty straight forward and simple. Put one on my 7mag but need a different rail I can only dial to about 400 which is plenty but it’s always fun to say u can shoot farther with a quick twist and no ballistics chart to look at first
Did very well on the smaller size in any color this summer for walleyes. It does not take much for these to spin at all. Smile blades I have no faith in because I’ve never had a stellar day with them nor really given them a chance so I can’t compare to them..and the prop blades I have used are aluminum or brass and quite a bit heavier and take a little more to spin from my experience. Fast fwd to now and have still been doing well while also catching quite a few perch and crappie on them as well about 3 to 1 vs a normal Colorado blade
Not a very good picture but I put a cfx carbon fiber handle on one of my personal rods.
I dont mind it from the little I’ve had a chance to use it…it is my hole hoping rod and I didn’t get it done until ice was almost over. If you want an extremely light setup that is the way to go. I don’t personally spend much time balancing my own personal ice rods. Have done some long rods with a cfx handle and before I start them I ask for the reel that they will be putting on it so I can balance it accordingly.
Had a lab that I did not have neutered and it cost me…and him. He developed a tumor on one of the boys and it was causing his other one to die. At his age I wasn’t sure what to do and I fully trust my vet. She said by all means he will be fine and recover. It was a lose lose situation A. Have it done tumor gone should be taken care of bc the biopsy came back good or B. Put him down as he was getting older and I didn’t want to be selfish. He had alot of life left in him. He didn’t hunt anymore just got to live his best life laying around on the couch being fat and sassy. I had it done, I do believe the surgery helped but I also cannot say for a fact if he did or did not fully recover from that surgery. It seemed after that his hips went downhil alot faster than they alresdy were beginning to… fast forward a year and a half to 2 years later and I had to put him down as he developed bladder stones and at his age there was absolutely no way I could put him through another surgery with his hips getting as bad as they were. He lived to be 13 1/2.
Worst birthday I have ever had.
The vet told me if you do not plan to breed the best thing is to have them fixed to prevent issues down the road that can easily be preventable and prolong the dogs life..is it true? I don’t know but I do know had I had the procedure done as a pup I wouldn’t have had to put him through that.
Best damn dog I ever had, not even hunting wise just personality wise and I still miss that dog daily even after a year and a half without him
