Alright thanks for getting back to me. I’m just watching the weather and waiting. I haven’t reached out to hotels yet for rooms. Just want to wait and watch the weather

Thanks for the response. I will be on a four wheeler. But like you said. No ice is safe.

Yeah trucks won’t be out for a while.. and if things don’t turn around fast. They won’t be out at all. Our smallest was 12in. Biggest was 22in. Many of our fish were 19in.

We’ll I went out on the north end with no problems with a ATV with chains. I was fishing by 530am. Walleye didn’t seem to be on the mud flats yet, but we did miss a few bites. We moved 4 times then got into them as the sun was going down. We had 11inch to 13 1/2inchs of ice. You could see where it had gotten slushie days before.

Roger! Thank you for the tips/advice. Not sure where we are going out Maybe west wind,or beacon. If you see a red Honda Foreman ES with an older x2 thermal, stop over for a beer. Good luck and safe travels to you as well

I would like to see it change some what. All though, we are going in the right decision it seems for now…. Between the DNR, native American tribes, and the sports men/women, we need to reach a happy medium… I don’t think that will ever happen. But now lake of the woods is on a fast decline to what mlicas has become. For lake of the woods I would like to see 4 fish. A combination of 4 fish. No more then two walleye. Slot size I don’t know. But something needs to be done soon. Also would like to see a law for how many houses/ permanent, resorts can put out. A limit of some kind. Also would like to see all resorts that are taking from the big lakes help with stocking. You know try putting fish back in the lake for a better long term future of the Fisheries. My family live all around lake of the woods and they are starting to see the effects. It’s scary they say.

Does marcum have the light on it. Or does it have the snow storm effect?

Well weather was rainy/windy on rainy Lake. The only Sunny day was Friday. We went to cranberry and worked our way home. Stopped in lost bay. Nothing. We caught most our walleyes o. The rainy days just on the north side of the Rainier bridge. The lock system was closed at that time so little to no danger underneath the bridge. We worked the river on the way back to the landing. Caught a few nice ones on the way back on rock piles and drop offs. The small mouth where jumping out of the water north of the bridge. My grandfather had a 4-5lbs on and it broke his line at the boat. Fishing was over poor. The lake…. always beautiful!

Thank you for the tips. What type of plastics do you use. I normally use live bait. Never really use plastics.
