What about a bad motormount? It’s something to consider. I had a vehicle do someting similar, replaced a bunch of obvious stuff, the shop finally tracked to a bad motormount. It wasn’t obvious that it was broken either. The motor never jumped around or anything when you tried powering braking it.

Look into using a residential air to air heat exchanger. Prolly a couple hundred CFM. Something like a Broan Model HRV-190S. Hang it inside. This will temper your makeup air. Fab up a sheetmetal cone or hood to capture the cig smoke. The wall penetrations would be pretty simple. Cord and plug 120v power also.
September 3, 2020 at 9:41 pm #1970481Driving the 494 strip near the airport with the fam in the truck the other day. Had this kid driving a street racer BMW smoke by us with his foot on the floor, all the sudden out of nowhere boom, a state trooper blows past me cutting across 3 lanes like I’m standing still, had his ass pulled over in no time.
Yep got a good chuckle that day.
June 9, 2019 at 8:05 pm #1861325If your planning on heating the garage all winter you’ll want that vapor barrier.
If your you’re only going to run the heater when your out there, you can get away without it.June 27, 2018 at 10:21 pm #1782858My Edge has an all aluminum transom, no wood. Not sure about the Lunds.
April 20, 2018 at 7:06 pm #1769461If you love the boat, get yourself set up with a nice snap on cover and a set of mooring whips. It’s gonna cost you some cash, but you’ll sleep good at night.
Especially when the weather man is calling for overnight storms.March 16, 2018 at 10:20 pm #1760258Canvas Craft made this storage cover for me. I believe the material is called Aqualon. I’m really happy with it.

April 24, 2017 at 7:13 pm #1690281If your boat is a 2016, tell them you want a 2017 console. Alumacraft redesigned it in ’17 you may like it.
March 6, 2017 at 9:08 pm #1679323I pulled the trigger on 185 Edge with a 150 Yamaha last summer.
Love the boat, very happy. Works great fishing with guys and a great family boat. I Added the ski pylon for pulling the kids tubing, works great.
I hear alot of guys don’t like the live well configuration, but it doesn’t bother me any.Nice thing about the yamaha’s is they come standard with the seastar power steering as well as a remote mounted water separator. Not sure if the Suzuki’s are equipped similar or not.
Not too happy with the Alumacraft cover my dealer provided, rain
water would leak into the boat up front near the trolling motor. Water would then run down into the front storage compartments getting everything inside the storage wet. If your boat is gonna sit outside a lot, be careful in your cover selection. My buddy bought an Edge from Cabelas last summer as well, they use Canvas craft covers, much nicer than mine.
August 24, 2015 at 8:40 pm #1561405Make it a drive on/drive off trailer. Replace the rear and mid cross members with strait steel. Weld in some C channel below the new cross members to store the ramp underneath when not in use.
April 10, 2015 at 12:35 pm #1533196I keep records of what I can and garden notes. have records back to 2003 I believe. looking at them last nite I’d say my average start date to till and plant is around the 3rd week of april.
Glenn
Would you expect that start date to hold true this year?
My kids want to do a garden this year and I’ve never done one before.January 3, 2015 at 5:59 pm #1491565Call the Iowa Dealers Unit and communicate your concern.
That will get their attention.October 23, 2014 at 9:18 pm #1466716I use Comet cleaner. I’ll take and sprinkle it on the ground creating a loop around the perimeter of the boat. I once heard the mice wont cross it. If you don’t want to go around the whole boat, then you could just sprinkle around the trailer tires.
October 10, 2014 at 9:28 am #1462520So I have to wait for the check engine light to come on (by running the engine) in order to get the codes again. I’m also trying to limit myself from running the engine any more than is necessary, so as not to make anything worse.
Doesn’t the computer store those codes even tho the light is not on.
Can you get the truck to an auto parts store like auto zone. They will read codes for free. Maybe their reader will provide a little more info.September 18, 2014 at 7:34 pm #1456218I’d say something with a minimum 10ft width.
We found 8ft width got a little tight for us.May 14, 2014 at 7:05 pm #1410402Cool. Thanks for the tip Will.
I’m definitely gonna be riggin some shiners in the near future.May 13, 2014 at 4:53 pm #1410136I pull spinners quite a bit, also drag leeches, riggin shiners is one of those things I haven’t done.
Thanks for the reply.May 12, 2014 at 4:09 pm #1409898question for you guys.
I’m assuming your talking about draging shinners correct?
how do you set up/fish your rigs with shinners?
I would think the challenge would be getting the shinner to swim straight?
Please fill me in here as I’m missing part of the deal. Thanks
December 11, 2013 at 6:34 pm #1370785Yep the black one. I stopped at GM after work tonight & checked’em out. Seemed pretty nice. Not looking to spend the doe on the SNOSUIT. Thinkin the icesuit may work good.
October 24, 2013 at 11:09 pm #1202215I’ve had (2)atv’s over the last few years. Neither one of them started all that well on those really cold mornings.
September 5, 2013 at 12:49 am #1193031I saw on the news today the Sheriff said they found an empty pop can stuck in the exhaust pipe.
July 14, 2013 at 5:20 pm #1183351Ya that, and they always fly up on you at full speed, then kick it into neutral at the last second.
Your fist thought is this guy is about to hit me, then you realize it’s the DNR and he’s standing on your boat.
It’s a fine line to walk in order to protect the resource.
July 14, 2013 at 3:37 pm #1183330They also asked if I had a cooler on board, I didn’t, but I got the feeling they would have checked that as well.
April 5, 2013 at 9:37 pm #1159860Great post. I’d be interested in hearing how the pros rig up their boards, preferred manufacturer, release types, run the tattle tale, etc.
March 18, 2013 at 11:53 pm #1153518Definitely higher fines and stiffer penalties! There needs to be an “Aggravated” or “Gross Intentional” level attached when these guys are busted soo far over the limit. The fine per fish needs to tripple or more when you are that far over the limit.
