I have no problem hunting ruffed grouse management areas during deer season but I will give the deer hunters the rest of the woods. The money part of the grouse season is only about 6 weeks long and I’m not going to cut out 1/3rd of it, especially when the majority of deer rifle hunters only hunt 2 days.

I try to not have my dog jump in or out of the truck bed ever, regardless of age. Sure its convenient for you but its not good for them long term. I see this comparison a lot. Fireworks are way different than hunting gunshots. Sure they’re both loud noises but that’s where the similarities stop. Entirely different environments and factors. Just because your dog isn’t gun shy doesn’t mean they’ll love fireworks randomly going off randomly in a place where they usually feel safe and secure.

Yep. Not sure if you can tell from the pic but the lengths of chain are different so I get the angle effect. Works really slick. You can see how nice the gravel looks in the background of the pic and that was only after a couple passes
