I am waiting to hear from Marcum as well. I sent them an email on Monday and have yet to hear anything. I’m just hoping they are busy with the holidays and not just ignoring me and everybody else with problems with the Pursuit. I bought mine from FishUSA so I would have to ship things back if I deal with them instead. If you have the option to just go to Scheels I definitely would. My cousin just brought back his 24v to Scheels because the power button was sticking. They replaced the whole auger no questions asked. They didn’t ask for a receipt or anything.

I have used mine twice now and the handle on the cable reel keeps falling out. Also not really sure how to use it with the strap and case as it is really hard to get the cable to feed out of the back. If someone has any tips on that I’m all ears! How was the battery life? Quality of video?
The video quality so far has been great in all conditions. I mainly use it for scouting locations and don’t use it much while actually fishing so I can’t really comment on battery life. I did have the no signal issue a couple times when I first used the camera but haven’t had that issue since. So far not the best purchase I have made but like others have said I will wait to see how Marcum customer service handles these issues as I have submitted a claim to them, just waiting to hear back.
I own the G2 and had the chance to use my cousin’s 24v last weekend. They are both awesome augers, can’t go wrong with either one.

Plano All Weather Tactical gun case. Comes in 36” and 42” lengths. Typically around $90 but routinely on Amazon for around $55. I fold reel handles down.
How tight do these fit in the case when its closed? Is it snug enough so when you carry it the rods stay in place and do not slide around in the case?
Thanks
If anyone has been waiting to pull the trigger on the G2 due to the price, Joe’s Sporting Goods has them for $599 and another $40 off with the code “TAKE40”, so $559. I’m out of state so no tax for me either
That is a great deal! I got a G2 in November for $595 and thought it was a great price but $559 is awesome.

Thank you for the quick reply James! I’ll have to give Reeds a call.If that upgrade through reeds is a real thing please post back and let us know the details. I heard second hand information on that a couple days ago and don’t know the specifics.
I just talked to a rep and Reeds and this is what I found out.
You can get a bundle of a Milwaukee M18 and either the 6” or 8” Lite Flite. With the 6” being $459.99 and the 8” being $479.99. Those both come with a free Trophy Strike auger bag and an extra battery for the drill.
You can also get a bundle of the 40V auger and the Lite Flite, though you will need to buy the full 40V with steel bit and all.
You can get the standard 40V 10” with the 8” Lite Flite bit included for $849.99 and you can get the standard 40V 8” with the 6” Lite Flite bit included for $799.99. Those both come with a free Trophy Strike auger bag, an auger extension, an extra set of blades, and an extra 40V battery.
I hope this make sense to everybody.

Hello Everybody!
This is my first post but have long enjoyed the content of this forum.
I am looking to buy an electric auger this year and would love to go with the Strikemaster 40V with the Lite-Flite auger.
Does anyone(or maybe James) know if we will be able to purchase the 40V power head with the Lite-Flite drill? It would be rather expensive to go that route and would bring the new ION into the discussion being they would be close to the same price point.
Also what would the weight savings be using a 40V powerhead with a Lite-Flite auger compared to the original steel auger?
Thank you!
