Thanks for the serious reply Kirt and Denny and those that offered assistance.

Denny, when you first plug the sd chip into the Lowrance, you are still seeing the generic Lowrance maps. To see the Navionics data, you had to select Navionics and then select fish & chip to get the map with contour lines. When I renewed this year, Navionics sent me a new chip and it was like starting over again. But I didn’t see the settings I was used to and so thought I would check in here and ask.

    Thanks for the help.

For the Ones that had no answer other than making fun of my question because they were to uneducated to understand it, and decided they just needed to make fun of it because they couldn’t get their comedy on TV, Kiss my butt.

Here is a youtube showing what I am talking about.

I guess the exact setting is “fish & chip:. I thought this was a serious forum to help those with questions. If you not familiar with this setting, you don’t know a lot about Lowrance.

    Guess I’ll look elsewhere.

Munchy, that helps. I didn’t see anything that said they had changes their menu options but I did pick Sonar Charts.

Fishwater, you do pick Navionics but I think it is under “view” you also pick “sonar chart”. If my memory is right.

    Thanks.

I thought this was a serious forum that helped others with their Lowrance questions. I guess the precise setting is “fish & chip”.

You can go to several youtube videos about setup of Navionics on a Lowrance and see it.

I guess I will look else where for serious replies.
