Lazer is my go to .Consider a 5″… lots easier cutting, less light down the hole. plenty of room for panfish and early season thin ice walleyes, plus a stealth factor you will never get w. a power auger.

You will need length, girth, super good color pictures, and a weight is helpful but not really necesary.I find a replica to be a little perfect without a little customization esp in the fins. Enjoy the new memory!

It is truly amazing how motivated my fishing partner gets when a can of spam is slammed on the boat deck at 11 on a shore lunch day!!

Your dentist may let you use his ultrasonic if you take him/her fishing now and then.

WOW!! I wonder how the DNR warden on Round Lake would go for those things.Unattended jet ski, no spotter, life jackets, etc….the experience-priceless.Sign me up.

I have a 30 year old daughter who still enjoys fishing w. old dad. When she was 4 the only criteria for her to come along was…are we going to have good snacks? Still makes me laugh. Have fun! Tom

1850 tyee , 150 opti,…motor needs to be almost full down and the windsheild closed to avoid damage. you can adjust your overhead door to go up a little further. Good luck and enjoy the new boat!!

The opti is a strong motor… but mine is very loud for putting around the lake.I have the 150 and it is not easy to have a conversation in an 1850 tyee. yamaha is alot quieter at idling speeds.(i have owned both).

Good luck in Canada. We have always found thin flutter spoons to be great.A little red or chartruese coloring does not hurt. A simple snap weight will get you down to them.Watch your locator for bait fish depth and you are on your way to a great shore lunch! Grouse dog is spot on with gold and silver being good colors.

I have caught dozens of them on a white jig, white hair, with a piece of conch.Fly fishing w smaller clauser minnows works pretty well.Look for cloudy water, it should be areas of feeding bones.Have a great time!

    Hi Mike,
WHAT WEEK ARE YOU GOING TO LAC SEUL?
WE leave in the morning! White jigs w. the red eye are my go to color 1/4, 3/8.I also like bft sour apple w. the firecracker chartruese tails 3/16 & 1/4. We work orange, gold and silver blades pretty hard on the spinners to find fish. Good Luck, Tom Statz

If agents for tsa are uncomfortable touching people, we need different tsa agents. The flying public places their trust in tsa to make them safe.I am so irritated with uneven airport security that I am going to go fishing sat and take my frustration out on a walleye or three!!! That is once i find out how many the tribe has left me after the spearing season. No CASINO,NO INDIAN GAS,NO COMPROMISE.

It seems that a large portiom of the general public think netting and spearing are no longer an issue. We need to keep the issue on the news programs and news papers so more people are turned off by this slaughter. We have a tv show here that fefers to all of this as fishing…not netting!
Perhaps it is time to pool some contributions and buy some billboard space w. pictures..nothing inflammatory, just factual.

Last year I grew tomatoes in a soil that was 100% miracle grow potting soil. They were fantastic. They were pampered with watering every 2-3days and liquid miracle grow every week.Basically they were ordered to produce and they did not disappoint! Used early, beefsteak, and big boy varieties.Good luck.

I use both types of rods. My strong preference is for my 6-2 gl3 loomis. It is tough as nails and very sensitive. I use a m-l w fast tip. You will enjoy either rod, they are both good products.

Every time Tigers transgressions become news a good family man like Phil just gets more valuable to more and more sponsors. Many millions is the short answer.I just wish he would quit taking shots like 13 today…great to watch but 5 feet shorter and no green jacket! Its just part of being a Phil fan!

I fished Nungesser for 8years.Great lake plenty of fish w a chance at a really big one now and then(29-30).We now fish Lac Seul (bigger water). The old jig and minnow or leach works great also spinners are good fish finders.Do not be reluctant to go way up the lake as the crowd thins out and the fishing stays hot!

I have followed this reg on Grindstone Lake..its does not seem to be working in spite of Frank Pratts opinion. The reason is people suddenly think its ok to kill walleyes over 18. A better aproach would be to stop any sportfisherman from taking any over 18! The tribe also raises caine w ice fishing multiple lines and NO regard for the slot. Then theres the spearing issue. To accomplish anything in restoring fish stocks we need some cooperation from everyone using the resource.
