Only 4 resorts left on Otter Tail. Over 1000 lakes in the county, so plenty of options for all species of fish. I don’t have any availability until mid-August, but would be happy to give some advice to other options in the area. Send me a PM if you’d like.

North Loop/SLP you’ll have a hard time finding much below $2100/mo. With that said, you get nice amenities like gym access, rooftop pool, etc. Doesn’t “save” them money, but it can allow them to drop the Lifetime membership.

That’s what they are looking for. Something with amenities such as a gym.

Appreciate all the info so far. If anyone has specific places to look into that would be great as well. I believe they are paying $1500/month plus utilities right now for a 3-bedroom in Mankato. Not sure they can come close to that in the metro?

The bite still isn’t real consistent. Water temps today were 66-68. Found a few fish today willing to eat a minnow, just not a numbers game yet.

    See you Thursday!

I doubt Lund is interested in why they failed, as the no longer make pontoons. They only made them 4 years.

Congratulations! Has to be a great feeling when a business plan pays off, especially when sooner than expected! Something all of us small business owners hopefully get to encounter, if all the stars align. Enjoy your new journey.

Border View owns some land just west of their resort and had their own ice road. I’m assuming this will be the road all 4 resorts will now use.

Sounds like the perfect companion. Never an easy time losing a pet. Sorry for your loss.

Otter Tail. 6 to 6 1/2hr drive. Lots of fine folks from the Omaha area make their way to the area every weekend.

Beads, curious, what size were the shorts you threw back? Nobody seems to be catching any 12-14” fish, which is a bit concerning.

Agree…I think many were surprised with the late spring a cool water temps, that the walleyes were willing to play! Lots of fish, mostly 15-19”, and several in the low 20” range were quite common at the resort.

As Dutch said, they’ve got the opti growl, but if you don’t mind a little noise I wouldn’t hesitate to buy one. I’ve owned 4 different Opti’s, the only issue was an air compressor on a 2007 175 which was under warranty. Otherwise, never touched any of them.

If you want to check out Otter Tail, you shouldn’t be disappointed in May or June. I’ve got a couple RV sites at my resort, so depending on dates, I might be able to accommodate you.

You can still get on the lake on the west side, by the Corner Store, and mainly fish the shore break for maybe a mile stretch. That’s about it, unless you’ve got a track machine. Ready for open water myself, this winter has been a struggle.

Look underneath at the welds on the toons and the cross members. See how the thing is actually put together. Look at the hinges on seats and doors, switches on dash, any moving parts in general. Typically the first things to fail. Bennington makes a variety of pontoons at many different price points. They aren’t all high end pontoons, but they all are built very well. Premier makes a nice pontoon also but will be more spendy.
If you think they will be at all beneficial, put Sea Legs on.

We have roads plowed, so yes, driving trucks out. Fishing was slower this weekend, guessing the weather had something to do with that.
