These open finger glacier gloves have been awesome so far. Wind proof layer on top and a neoprene layer on Palm. I hate wearing gloves but when I have to I wear these.

October 24, 2015 at 9:29 am #15730016th might not be an option anymore. A buddy from St.Cloud invited me on a duck hunt that Friday, Saturday. Nmann I might try and take you up on that. Monday afternoon would probably work best for me if I can’t find a seat on P4. Thanks guys
August 11, 2015 at 8:38 am #1558993So took the advice of washing boat and then using vinegar mix to remove water spots. Worked great but now that all the water spots are gone I found a few small rock chips in paint on boat. I’ve already taken care of the rock issue from happening again. Looking for advice on how to properly repair small rock chips. Aluminum boat painted black so the white chips really stick out.

August 6, 2015 at 9:14 pm #1558368I would like to know as well. Only thing the
At has worked for me is to scrub hard and dry with towel before water dries from sun.August 4, 2015 at 10:49 am #1557836So I’m assuming you had more then one remote when you were playing this prank on your buddy? Or you were using the foot pedal?
August 4, 2015 at 10:30 am #1557829If you program your remote to buddies unit will your remote still work on your unit?
July 30, 2015 at 10:34 am #1557154I’m pretty sure it is real and they were assuming the grenade was going to sink farther down before exploding. Either way. Very stupid.
July 16, 2015 at 1:55 pm #1555058James care to give us some first impressions on the motor guide? Looking for info like. Is the spot lock that much better? Battery life compared to minnkota? Any other info you feel is necessary to know before purchasing one? I currently have a minnkota terrova I-pilot and the spot lock feature IMO is not that great. I feel it wanders too much. Thanks
July 16, 2015 at 8:16 am #1555015Justin,
Interested in the left hand revo. Did you mean to put revo sx? I googled and can not find a revo SV. Approx how old is reel?July 13, 2015 at 8:50 pm #1554599Not even sure if we are gonna put money in this. Maybe just a small bragging trophy at end of year. Just looking to get info on points formats people are using. Probably will be catch photo, measure release. Might not even weigh them. Any ideas as how that would work?
July 12, 2015 at 9:54 pm #1554329I’m right handed and left eye dominant as well. I would highly recommend shooting both rifle and archery left handed. Less room for error. When the moment of truth comes it takes a ton of practice to not close the wrong eye. Only downside is I started shooting right handed. Been much better since switching to left hand shooting. Make sure you get him a left handed shotgun as well. Otherwise he will get a face full of powder/gas in the face.
July 9, 2015 at 7:38 pm #1553952I am also from southern Wi and Ricky from Brainared Props had the best deal. On a side note if you buy a prop from him have him tune it for you. Wish I did the first time instead of having to send it back now.
July 7, 2015 at 7:27 am #1553522BK,
When you started off and were guiding for a summer at no charge were you required to have guide insurance and a guide license?July 6, 2015 at 9:42 am #1553321Lake Delevan in south east Wi? I’ve been doing really good out there the last 5 weeks. Pitch weed lines. Leech or crawler hasn’t seemed to matter but on leeches you will catch more bass. Send me a PM.
June 30, 2015 at 9:53 am #1552558Wow! By those reviews I would stay far far away from that place. Sad to hear a business can stay running after treating so many customers poorly.
June 30, 2015 at 9:30 am #1552552Drop shot rigs have produced our biggest eyes every year on Petenwell this time of year. We do about the same as everyone else has stated. Fluorocarbon leader to a vmc drop shot hook and a heavy enough weight to keep us perfectly vertical if needed. Position the boat directly over them and basically put it right in front of there nose sitting there with maybe a small wiggle hear or there. Such a fun way to fish.
Another side note. If you buy the actual drop shot weights that slide on and grab the line I find they don’t get tangled in the net as much. Only downside to this rig IMO.
June 30, 2015 at 8:13 am #1552522Thanks for the info. I will let you guys know how we do. Big group going up. 6 boats
June 21, 2015 at 8:45 pm #1551311Another quick note. My buddy and me bought the same rifle a week apart. My gun preferred the CCI 20 grain game points and his preferred the 17 grain hornadys. Unless you want to blow prairie dogs up this rifle will do the trick. You should search 17HMR on YouTube. Tons of videos on there of long range ballistics testing and even videos of coyotes and foxs being taken out to 200 yds with this caliber.
June 21, 2015 at 8:41 pm #1551309I purchased the standard savage 93 a couple years ago. It did come with a heavy barrel. Plain black synthetic stock. Topped it off with a 8X18 power BSA sweet 17 with turrets. Can’t say one bad thing about the gun with approx 700 rounds thought it. That accu trigger is awesome and the rifle scope combo is insanely accurate. Farthest I have pushed the gun is 260 yds from a bench with a 5 round shot group of 2.25″.
June 17, 2015 at 6:30 pm #1550716I think most of the best river rats out there fished that river blind (without all the new fancy electronics)for many many years. You can learn a ton by just paying attention to the water and surrounding landscape. Put your time in. You’ll figure it out. Also if you didnt feel safe and made the call to go in there’s nothing wrong with that.
June 12, 2015 at 7:22 am #1549864Run 10 lb hi-vis power pro for everything. When rigging I tie on a fluorocarbon leader. Presentation dictates length. Uni to uni knot used with all tied on leaders. Have been very happy with this setup. Been using it for three years now and have not run into any issues.
