I bought one from Lakeland brand. The have a special package you can buy just for dogs. It’s a heavy rubber coated 1/4 screen type layer that goes over the screens on the side windows. That way my dog (lab) can’t poke his nose through the screen. It was a extra $100 bucks with them installing but well worth it to me.

Need a little more information.
Are you truly spider rigging? That’s using 8 rods and trolling? Then you’d be better off with something with a good GPS and map chip. The rods are 10 -14ft out in front of you, so by the time structure goes under your transducer it’s too late, your bait is passed. Also probably want something you can mount up front on your trolling motor. This can let you see structure sooner. Also make sure it has a wide angle transducer (cone). Let’s you see more bottom in shallow water.
Are you sitting up front by yourself or double seating it? If double up you want a bigger screen.
Sideimaging is a big plus. You can make a pass, mark the structure, then make another pass actually fishing the structure.
Here in Iowa you can only legally have 3 rods per person, so “spider rigging” is modified a litle bit.February 5, 2024 at 9:31 pm #2252206I have the kind of portable air conditioner that looks more like a dehumidifier. It’s probably 10 years old or so but still works great. Has a vent tube that looks like your dryer vent tube.
February 4, 2024 at 8:08 pm #2251969I live about a 1/16 of line on my knot when I cut it. Then I run the plastic up past the eye on the hook and the knot. That little tag end of line acts like a barb to hold your plastic in place. Often, I will even put a drop of super glue on the knot before I run the plastic over it. I use eagle claw size 2 or 4 abeberdeen gold.
March 5, 2023 at 6:28 am #2186268Look at buying a insta pot or crock pot brand insta cooker (called crock pot express), these can be used like a slow cooker but also give you the option of searing, pressure cooking, slow cooking, rice cooker, kind of a 7 in one deal. Teh only thing I did buy a separate glass lid for mine. makes it a lot easier when food is done to get in and out of instead of the heavy pressure cooker type lid.
https://www.crock-pot.com/specialty-products/express-pressure-cookers/December 31, 2022 at 7:31 am #2170454I just did a lot of research on this myself. Here is the short version of what I found. The .17 is faster and flatter shooting bullet. However even a small amount of wind can affect the trajectory. The 22 Mag, is a little heavier and not quite as flat shooting but not effected nearly as much by the wind. They are very similar loads. I went with the 22 mag and the Ruger Precision Bolt action rifle. One review I saw said “if you’re shooting at paper, get the .17. If your shooting critters, get the 22 mag”. I can’t remember the source of the quote. Also note I’ve had a 22 mag for a long time and was really satisfied with it (Marlin). Just upgraded to something that would fit a suppressor.
September 22, 2022 at 9:15 pm #2148275Here is what I had on mine. I have since sold the quad but still have the rack, it’s in the rafters of my garage. Would sell it cheap. Worked great, just never really needed the quad.

March 24, 2022 at 6:49 am #2110379I sold the same set up last summer AFTER I got my new one. Put it on marketplace for $900 and had several offers in 5 minutes. Was gone in less than three hours

February 13, 2022 at 6:31 am #2099124I would get at least the 9. The 9 and above have the view short cut buttons on the front, You can set your three favorite views and use these short cut buttons, I have GPS, fish finder and GPS/fish finder split view. I have this in my boat and when I fish in my buddy’s boat he does not. It drives me crazy having to scroll through all the screens to get back to the one you want. Also I would always recommend a bigger screen too.

May 17, 2021 at 9:42 pm #2037451sliderfishn you apparently have a lot more stuff lying around your garage than I do.
April 15, 2021 at 6:48 am #2029768I was at a conference recently where they were discussing this. Apparently if you are running your boat for business, ex a guide or tournament fishing, this is considered commercial. Not only do you need to stop at weigh stations but you also need a CDL to operate. They were telling some war stories about how they were stopping “wrapped” (boats labeled with advertisers) and making them park it because they didn’t have a CDL. There was a specific weight with this also, I can not remember what it was. I think it is one of those gray areas. Like if your going 58 in a 55 mph zone, are you doing anything wrong????? Yes, but you’d probably never get stopped just for that.
March 4, 2021 at 4:13 pm #2019891You also have to consider how close you can get to your transom. My boat has a big livewell and I can’t reach the kicker well enough to lift if. I would have to get on my knee and grab it to raise it. I would never want to stand up and bend over at the back of the boat like that, especially in rough, big water and straining to lift something. I have electric lift and love it. Would certainly do it again.
December 25, 2020 at 8:43 am #2000454I have the showtime also. Use it a ton in the winter when it’s to cold to grill or smoke outside. Love doing steaks in it, they roll in their own juices and are awesome. If your going to get a rotisserie you need to get one of these, it’s a must, really. Otherwise you have no way to check your meat unless you open the door and stop the rotisserie and probe the meat with a thermometer. I use a thermometer on all my big cuts of meat, this is wireless so you can use it in the rotisserie.

October 6, 2020 at 12:45 pm #1977737I think that is the full model number Honda GX390 (13hp). thank you
August 3, 2020 at 7:17 am #1962483Have you tried clip on’s? I have both. Clip on’s can work for a lot of situations. Over the glasses can be big and bulky but eliminate a lot more sunlight. Clip on’s are a lot cheaper too.
June 13, 2020 at 7:37 am #1949701Have same set up, but I ran it to the rafters and use it to hang deer when we are butchering.
