Shout out to the crew that performed this and the East side Hwy 47 routes- They rarely closed the road, offering pilot cars to guide you through the lane closures- I never once had to use the detour this Summer.

The density of fish seems higher this year, but maybe they lose a few before I make it to the Fair. I was once told that the Trout ended up in Courthouse, the reason for my large Brook Trout catch one year- I think this has been stopped as disease may have spread.

I took the dog swimming on the Northside beach last weekend- Lots of 14-16 inch Tullibees dead on shore, about 10 for every 20 feet of shoreline.

I joke with my Physician that “if you haven’t caught Lymes, you’re not in the woods enough”. I’ve had it twice and almost lost a dog to Anaplasmosis until I found a Vet that could treat it.

I will be sad because I collect the blue paper licenses over the years and have a big box of WI and MN ones. One day I added up all my Grouse (small game) licenses and realized I had been paying close to $50 per bird. Yeah, I’m a terrible shot and enjoy long walks in the woods with my old dog, dinner can easily be a steak on the grill instead.

I loaded the app and will try it out. My main purpose is to see underwater structure and depths- if you can do that better than the DNR and Navionics apps, you have me as a customer. The contour depth information doesn’t seem to be there yet. Weather data, land ownership and fishing regulations are not what I need in an app.

I am currently raising a 4 month old Golden and going through the same thing- we have been in puppy classes to learn the basic obedience tasks but the biting continues through and after their adult teeth come in at 5-6 months and then a month or two after. The diversion of a high value treat is key, that and training the dog to focus on you- If you can get the dog to stop the current behavior and redirect the energy, you are on the right track. My biggest challenge is in social settings where adults encourage the biting, I need to remove the dog from interacting with that person. I have lots of diversion toys nearby to redirect the puppy’s negative energy into something else.

I second the Panther Martin spinners on a spinning rod combo- I like yellow with red dots, the Trout love them and that’s all I bring fishing.

Wait until these students get jobs, start paying income, property and sales taxes. They will then realize that the left may not be the correct side of the aisle.

I had a great experience with my Spaniel at Animal Eye Specialty Center in Andover, MN. They specialize in animal vision challenges. The Doctors there are very helpful.

I just experienced this new $49.99 subscription charge to renew. I always found Navionics to be barely worth the old fee but I subscribed year after year. $50 is too much for me to renew.

I used to fish Courthouse opener years ago and had many great days there. I was told they placed the large Trout from the State Fair pond there.

I’m wondering about how I will action upon this law. I guessed it would be a small aluminum trash can with a metal ring around the lip bolted onto my house but then saw the tether line in the pic above. That would be easiest if we could tether a temporary plastic pail to the house? I clean up after my dog on the lake as my skid shack usually stays in one location most of the winter.

My real hobby is collecting wine. I love to learn about how it’s made, where it’s from and enjoying special bottles with family and friends. It’s not a cheap hobby.

I researched and found the “companion” model has one 30 amp outlet, This one is NOT a companion series and was used in my ice shack as a stand alone generator with two standard outlets and the two parallel operation ports.

It has the two ports called “parallel operation outlets” in the lower right which I believe uses a special cable to connect to another Honda generator. It doesn’t state “companion” on the generator itself but the manual says “Parallel Operation Outlets: These outlets are used for connecting both types of the EU2200i or EU2000i generators (standard and companion) for parallel operation. A Honda approved parallel operation cable kit is required for parallel operation”. The serial plate states EU2200IT AN R280.
