Truck travel is real tough right now. You would want to have 2 or 3 pickups in your group with tow straps to pull each other out as you get stuck. Best bet is tracks.

I have run the Resort XTPro1200 for 2 seasons now and absolutely love it. I primarily fish with my 2 brother-in-laws and the 3 of us have no issues fishing out of it. I pull mine behind my Ranger so no issue with transporting. Even if you were going to fish primarily with 2 guys I would still recommend the resort and just take out a seat and have the extra room. (Picture of fishing setup attached)

Best house to buy in my option.

I have run the K-Drill 8″ for 3 years and love it. I just ordered the 6″ bit from Reeds for $189 2 weeks ago and wow do I love the 6″. It is nice to have both bits for different uses. I primarily fish for Crappie/Bluegills on my home lake so the 6″ is awesome. I fished Christmas Eve and cut 35-40 holes on 1 battery in 10″ of ice. K-drill is my recommendation!

James the disclaimer to not watch on Christmas came a bit too late in the show to be effective for me. Already watched it! )

Love the show, keep up the great work.

Off to LOTW for the new year.

I have a 32″ TB Quiverstick as well and love it. I just bought my first 2 TUCR rods with 1 being the QT (Quicktip) and I will tell you that it is even more sensitive than my Quiverstick. I think I might have been won over by TUCR.

Got out this morning to try out the new rods. Wow, very impressed with both. First drop with the Bullwhip and instantly caught a crappie. Sensitivity on the QT is phenomenal. Love both rods. Great additions to my arsenal.

Imo it is. I think you would regret it if you bought the 6 instead of the 7 if you can afford it. I bought the LX-9 3 years ago and love it. My wife also loved it; so much so that I had to buy one for her.

grab a small 4’x4′ tarp from Menards, strap it down over the box with bungees?

That is a good idea. Thanks.

Well I got a call today from Scheels here in Fargo and the TUCR came in. I am now the owner of both the Bullwhip and QT.

I would get both. You can never have to many rods.

This is wise thinking…. until the wife finds out. She already thinks I have too many rods (no such thing).

I am leaning towards both and selling one of my Thorne Bros Noodles.

That was a great clip! My favorite was when you told her to set the hook (OK, but you really said “All right, jerk it.” but considering the IDO crowd here, that statement is more than a little dangerous) and she gave it a tiny little wrist flip less impactful than a normal jigging stroke. Not making fun of a newbie, but just funny to see the translation of instructions to actions and how we all assume different meanings to words.

JD – Even worse, I said it twice!

Some times the ladies need a little more encouragement to “Jerk It”!

Great video… but better even better commentary from IDOer’s.

I fished Leaf Lake in Becker County last Saturday (11/30) morning and the ice thickness was 8-9″. Why anyone would drive a pickup on the ice in Becker County is foolish. Tragic about the dog…. innocent victim.
