Usually I fish the Kinni narrows after the water goes down. With the high water I can’t seem to catch a walleye at the narrows. I’m hoping for high water through June so I can keep fishing the same area. I live in Hudson. That should give everyone an idea that doesn’t know where the community spot I’m referring to. Good luck.

With the high water the walleyes will be in that area for a while. I remember I fished until July last year with all the rain we had.

I travel for work too often. Anyways, those fellows can out fish me. I just get lucky sometimes.

Got my limit again today. Catch and released. I still have to finish eating the ones from Wednesday. Fishing is getting better. Good luck!

Really? Did he just ask for a map? I have GPS coordinates if you’d like. Just follow all the other boats.

I lived in WA for over 10 years. I’ve fished the Columbia and Snake rivers. They hold some of the biggest walleyes in the United States. My go to spinner rig was a blade with a hole in it. It churns up the water quite a bit and to me it mimics a school of baitfish with all the bubbles.

On the St Croix. Someone posted a picture with a nice walleye and everyone that fished the river knew right where it was. Hence…community. I can send you a picture but I don’t want to to endure what the other guy went through…sharing is caring. Just give enough room so one can cast out a line.

I think I saw you on Tuesday…good job.

If you keep the engine running I don’t think water can get in muffler…

We fished from 5 am til 9am with no walleyes. We were pitching crawlers and minnows in the Hudson narrows. We did manage to catch 5 white suckers, the biggest was over 27 inches. I’m not planning to fish until next week when the water temps come up a bit. Good luck everyone.

I might be there Friday too. Not sure at this point. But I fished Monday alone and limited out on saugers with blade baits. Fish were between 17-20 inches. No walleyes caught that day. Just like everyone stated I fished the sand away from current. I did try the fast water by the dam but couldn’t manage to hook any fish when they hit. There was a lot of leaves also giving me a false bite. Good luck if we don’t meet up on Friday.

Thanks for the info. I appreciate all the info that you pass along to fellow fisherman on the St Croix. The question I have is who regulates the no wake on the river? There have been many times that I wonder if it matters to some people.

Walleyes are biting at the wing dams. The further south the better the bite.

Walleye and sauger. Summer time flow. Launch is in great shape.

I was informed that the tourney is happening this weekend so I’m going to postpone my trip.

I can fish with you all day on the 14th if it’s still open.
I’ll send you a PM with my info.
    Thanks Touh
