I have a one man and a two man lodge. I seem to use the one man more. I am considering selling both and going to a new xt1200 cottage.

Alex yes it would be killer to have this but I am not sure our units processors would handle it reliably.

I run an lx6, really wish I would have bought the 7. I am pretty sure the target seperation is due to screen size. I would make someone a decent deal on my 6 if someone wanted it.

I run 2 eagle claws, one tony roach, and a cgi. so far that tony roach is awesome. I run 100% flouro mainline all the way. anywhere from 2-8 lb depending on target species. my go to is 3lb. I fish as small as 3mm tungsten with 0 problems.

Very rarely di I drink on the ice anymore. I got a pretty stern warning by the dnr officer that I could be charged with dui on the quad. So couple that with having to drive home its just not worth it. But I always have various deer sticks, jerkey, and summer sausage, along with a couple bottles of water and a couple sodas in the sled.

I run 100% flourocarbon as it sinks opposed to mono which is slightly bouyant for this reason. I feel like I have a better feel for my jig in deeper water.

I run a polaris sportsman 500. before that was a 400. buddy runs a honda 300, another buddy with a 700 sportsman. Honestly that honda 300 keeps up with anything our bigger bikes do. Hell if your just dragging a portable and staying with tires a 250 will do the job just fine. But if your gonna use it for any working, I.E. farm use or food plot maintenance id go no smaller than 400.

An 8/20 degree split screen would be awesome. I use this screen on my humminbird open water units all the time.

OMG, Devils lake has met its match. I cannot wait for the new show tomorrow. Please keep up the habit of posting to youtube on sundays for us poor souls with nothing but basic cable!

I had the same problem with my lazer pro. I just took a zip tie and wrapped around it. Have not had an issue since.

Love my lazer pro, fast light, but expensive. The chipper light is a good unit just slower than the twin bladed lazer. The honda lite is a very nice auger, but again expensive. The chipper blades are more durable than the lazers but again, lazer is way faster.
