I’m Tim Hyvonen an avid steelhead hunter. I have been chasing Steelhead, Brown trout, Chinook/Coho salmon for over 20 years. After getting out of the United States Coast Guard I decided to start guiding. WiFinlander Guide Service specializes in centerpin, fly fishing and float fishing for Steelhead in the spring. During the winter you can find me chasing the world class brown trout in the harbors of Lake Michigan. In addition to guiding I am also a tournament fisherman. Every winter I compete in the Team Extreme Ice Fishing Series and during the summer I spend 9 days fishing Lake Michigan’s largest tournament, Salmon a Rama. When I find a little free time I also write fishing articles for Fishing-Headquarters.com
