Looking to trade mine in for a new one. Otherwise I have to sell mine first. I don’t want to be stuck with two boats! Maybe two laddies but not two boats.

Here is a very good site http://www.brovarneybaits.com, It’s still in the process of being set up but each individual jig is hand made. They offer more sizes and colors than whats on the site. So if you want something “custom” made let them know. They are local to WI and very dependable. They also custom make some football heads for me. I’ll have to check but I think one of them will be traveling/fishing the BFL with “Inventory” to sell.

I always like to do business with newer entrepreneurs because they are willing to do more for you and always remember their first big customers.

I checked their site and the travel schedule is on it.

Going to pool 4 for the very first time this weekend. Lookin’ for bass. Usually go for big mouths but here that smallies are the best bet there. Is any part of the pool better (or worse) than the rest for either. All I have for maps are “Hot spots” and chart book. What are some good launches at mid-lower pool. And do I need to worry much about navigating the back water sloughs to lakes(stumps, rocks, sand bars)? Is the water low as in other pools farther south. This looks like too much…I’m just trying to narrow my search to 2 or 3 areas? And not tear up my rig!

Just remember that islands on the map are not all the same in real life and getting there for the first time is easier than getting back unless you have GPS. If you have GPS jump into someone’s tracks and follow cautiously! With all the traffic this won’t be a problem. Also beware of canoers paddling around corners, they were kind of thick 2 weeks ago. If you wait for high water a lot of these islands are just under the surface.
But since you guys are being so open…is it possible to navigate Raft channel and adjacent islands and how is the fishin’ there? I know this pool fairly well but haven’t been to this area.
