I go thru one every couple of years, the service dept for buddy has told me to clean out the pilot per the instructions; to no avail, to aleviate problems i buy a new one when it starts to act up, the last thig i need is a cold trip due to unreliable heaters

I have the expidition and a lakemaster multitsate chip….works fantastic used it yesterday on waconia and found a great spot to fish….expensive but very good

go with the 8 I have had one for years and when it finally quit working i brought to vexilar in bloomington and had it repaired for a few bucks
