Basically it’s personal preferences unless your dealing with oil leaking issues. This is what I though.

I can understand not wanting your carb close to the ice/slush.

I have no experience with the new rigid models, but I did have a five tool kit from them 6-7 years ago. The tools seemed a lot better quality than the top 3(makita,dewalt,milwaukee) but, I did have a lot of problems with my batteries not charging when too hot, and one went bad with in the first year.

Not really. The electrics go from 22-24lbs. Propanes 26-30

That K Drill may be calling my name at 12lbs Would make a world of difference. Super tempted today but will be going the Milwaukee Fuel or Ridgid X4 route!

Bought one last year. From what I can tell it seems to be a great unit. It doesn’t like to play nice with my girlfriend’s lx3tc unless I’m using the narrow cone

I have been working on my portable in the garage again, trying to get it ready/able to do 3-4 nights in a row trips.

early ice I am planning on at least two trips to URL for walleye
Two trips to Winnipeg late ice for green backs is on the list
This one is going to be hard to swing but I would like to go Ft. Peck for four days to chase big trout, pike, and walleye.

The rest will be spent in ottertail county

    Bring on the ice!
