Plates, don’t know. But be careful. I’ve known people who have sold on craigslist, and have been successful. One local guy sold a car, and the buyer gave him a Cashiers Check. It was phony, he got screwed. Be wary.
I agree with the above. Nice video, but I would have liked to see more instructions, less fish catching. I think what would be nice is a booklet, with water proof pages, loaded with different picks of stuff. That way, you would be able to have it in the boat, and compare what you see to what is in the book.
Just ordered my 999 and my Bow 360 today. Right now, I have a Motorguide and the 360 will be ok with the collar. Looking forward, when my Motorguide dies, I would like to go with the I Pilot. I also am building a bracket in my head to use, if and when I need it.
I was wondering if any one has seen “the technological angler” dvd on humminbird side imaging. How good or bad was it? I just bought a Hbird 999 ci hd si. I’ve watched alot of youtube videos, but am still looking for more deffinative instruction relating to these units. I also am looking at the 999, looks like a really nice unit. I also have watched some of the videos on line from the Technical angler. Some good stuff there.
I have no idea about the color option. If you do buy a humminbird I would suggest going to a sonar class to learn what you are looking at. I went to one at Thorne Brothers when SI first came out and that made a world of difference understanding what I was looking at. There are different seminars all over the place to help people out. You won’t regret your purchase I am sure.
Haven’t seen any seminars in my area, just yet. I plan on buying some DVD’s to help me with the learning curve.
Also be aware that if you buy the 360 with bow mount transducer that it’s not compatible with the Terrova iPilot. It’s only compatible with the cable drive motors like the Fortrex or Maxxum.
Thanks, I am aware of that. Right now, I am running a Motorguide, and with me adding a sleeve, it will mount on it.
