A few of us are planning to fish white fish around that time. It will be our first time there tho. Haven’t fish white fish but we fish for tulibee from bsl to winni…and leech..hope the bite isnt too far out..got every thing except wheelers or sled…to get out…welling to pay for a ride to get out there from the bank..

Just a thought. was out on red last year when our car battery didn’t want to start due to the severe coldness and had to ask around for a jumper.

Once you know the avg. Size fish you can kinda preset your drag..at least I’m running like that
I run 7′ avid with 832… Set to about medium..just enough by hand pull …and work from there…most of the time I only turn up a bit if bigger fish otherwise its set…
Also stiffer rod too..using st Croix avid…

I fish a lot on fiska. Cjs…and now I’m into the Kodiak brand…nice sharp hooks…really like that orange gold..

Back then I check on free annual credit report or something like that and I got the info but to get a score you have to pay….I’m on freecreditreport and I see mine offen. Not that I needed but just to check…should cancel it tho I’m not into buying anything…plus I’m almost perfect as to credit that I won’t need it for a while…but good site tho…email me all the time when it goes up or down and or anything change…..
I always price match at cabelas with their online sale price unless its an online only deal….other wise all it take is just let them know…always seem to work…can’t say to other stores…tho
Check your depth…thing…might be put on dynamic…which sometimes does that…but mine only flicker back and forth a few feet…move to a set depth.see if that helps…
Check with woodland resort devils lake. I had been there once every year around this time and they have plow road to the common spot. Depend on snow amount you can roam around from there to a few other common spot..dome house..etc….hope this help..
I run a lx9 and I see the same problem. When I turn it to the 6 color..I have a clearer reading but my sensitivity is way up. I’m using a 1/8 oz frosty spoon…my brothers lx 7 seems to read a bit better..at lower setting…for me its hard to fish on the three color at 22 fow….at least on that lake…
A while back when my cord came loose from my solo and I had to bring it in to strikemaster at the big lake location they told me the way to turn off a solo is by pressing the blue button..can’t remeber what its call but yea hit that to turn off…the on/ off switch should be more like a emergency shutoff only….
Use my lx 9 on url for the whole weekend…almost non stop…just a couple hrs off for a nap…it should be able to hit 24 hrs….at least…mine did…
Charger never turn green….check your battery…if your battery never get to say 98% fully charge it won’t turn green. Had same thing even a new charger will not turn green…so I just bought a new battery…works fine..
What I think is we should shut off our heart beat while ice fishing ..that for sure will be heard under the ice too….
I make every trip worth the while so I carry both..plastic and meat..
I have seen that the new lx 9( late 2013 model at least) have a fuse on the hot wire that connects to the unit from the battery…
$1199.00 for a lx 9 not even a year and I have to replace a charger and a battery…I have bad luck with Marcum charger and battery. My 825 sd camera battery died on me too…
Just charge for a day or so don’t leave it on forever. Just a couple week ago I had the same problem. I left it on the charger and in two day worth of time it got very warm. My whole lx9 bag and the battery got really warm almost hot to the touch. Anyways I got a new charger from them too and did not work so I just bought a new battery. Works fine now…I think if it can’t get the battery to a certin percentage it won’t turn green..try a new battery with your charger….Im not too suprise about their battery…charger thing…been seeing a few post about it…
I would say look for it on cyber Monday( this coming Monday for online order). I think in the pass $100 off $500 for gander mountain and like $75 off $500 at cabelas. But I’m not sure of this year. Hope this help…
Spend the extra money and be done with…I have seen the upgrade for the lx 7 convert to be like a lx 9 and still its another 500 dollars…
