I just bought my second one. The first is a 7 ‘ Heavy. The new on is a 6’8″ M XF. I took quite some time deciding and I will tell you what sold me.

Go in with someone to look at both rods (I had my wife with me).. Take the Avid and hold the tip to your friends throat and have him talk. Then do the same with the Legend. You will be amazed at how much more you can feel the vibrations. It will sell you on $40 extra every time. I did the same with the $300 rod and did not notice as much of a difference but ther was some.

I had My Wife do the same to me and she could tell the difference and was convinced I should spend more money.. Might be a good trick for that too..
