Stayed in my pop up tent blind all day today with the Mr heater. I just turned it on every hour to take the chill off. Deer weren’t moving much only heard three shots all day and it was the opener here.

No you don’t need a license to push or drive deer if you are not carrying a gun. A lot of under age family members get there start that way. Make sure you are wearing blaze orange though.

Hey Kooty waiting to here a report from you on the birds. Still undecided if I’m going out this year. I need surgery on my achillies tendon Nov 8th. I would only be able to block this year if I go. We stay Plankinton.

Got back today after our 5 day hunt. 9 to 10 hunters and we shot 51 birds. Thursday was very windy cold and 2″ of snow on the ground. It was fun hunting in the snow, hav’nt done that since the opener blizzard a few years back. Hunted private land one day and shot 16 birds that day. The rest came from public ground between Mitchell and Chamberland. Heard some hunters at restraunt that they didn’t see a bird on Thurs. Had a great time hunting and seeing old friends again. Can’t wait to go back next year.

Thanks for the info. I downloaded the public hunts into the GPS tonight. They help alot to locate new areas.

Nice job guys. I’m a member of Empowered Dream Hunts that gets disabled hunters deer hunting also. Alot of work goes into getting this done.

I bought the Hunter Safty System camo that reverses to blaze orange. I can use it for rifle and muzzleloader seasons.
