Tony “T-Bone” @ http://www.seriousinktattoos.com in Fridley layed down a walleye on my forearm with over 400 scales during a nearly 5 hour session, did an awesome job with great coloring 3 years later.
I could send you a pic if you’d like.

Great Job Guys. Ordered on Monday, received and watched Wednesday. Very much worth the viewing! (Although GPS coordinates were absent…)
    Thanks,

I disagree that the rates are climbing, the fed dropped it’s rates again last week, this should be appealing to banks and they should be willing the get their loans through them, then eventually we should see a further drop. Hold tight is my opinion.

I run the Mississippi from pool 4 to pool 6 using a 7 foot medium heavy custom from Mike at Hooked on in Rochester with an extra long handle to fit my fore arm (not big on rod holders), Okuma spinning reel with 10 lb power pro (braided). I’m pulling raps/wally’s from 6 to 18 fow with probably 80 to 100 feet of line out depending on the crank/depth, usually less than 2 mph. Don’t care for lead core as I want to feel more action rather than “drag” something back to the boat that might as well be 5 pounds of weeds. Same thing with the 3 ways…too much weight.
Just my opinion…don’t make it right.

PowerPro, definitely. Tried the rest, don’t hold up. Change it yearly. If you’re trolling rocking areas, retie often. Love if for jiggin’, easy visual when it goes limp, pretty much no memory.

Never! I think it’s ridiculous unless they appear to have a serious issue. I’ve had 7 dogs, some of them had bad breath, but they were/are very healthy with gums/teeth.

Even though I’m a St.Mary’s alumni, I still watch and cheer on the WSU Warriors. Excellent!

Boy, too close to start watching the mailbox for new plugs.
The next round should separate the men from the boys a little more.

Steve, thanks, Mystic Moose looks inviting, the other is a “quiet” lake and I’d like to move about a little more.

I’m sure there’s alot more input…come on gang!

I’ve got an old (20 years?)hand held with leather case, works great. Can’t remember the brand…I used it when I was locking thru and wanted to avoid the tow boat traffic. I had a few clear conversations with the lock masters. Yours for 10 bucks plus shipping from 55987 (Winona). P.M. if you’re interested.

Best investment I ever made for both my Wife and I. How many times do you spend a couple of grand on something you really don’t “need”, for once, blow the cash on something that will affect your life everday and the benefits are long term.
Had ours done in Edina, would do it again in a heartbeat!

Count me in, only in sight…not in mind. Last day, then 6 days off! Crappies are biting even with the mayfly hatch. See you on the water

Just above Prairie Island campground is a great launch area below the spillway for backwater access, but if you’re looking for solitude, the campground is probably a little busier than you’re after. (Should be able to make reservations through Winona Park & Recreations @ 507.457.8258). If you want an island for peace and quiet, I’d still go out of the spill way launch and head dowstream into the channel, there’s nice beaches heading north and mostly south. As far as honey hole’s, rely on your intuituion, depending on the time of year/flow/temp etc., if it looks like there’s potential then toss a plug. Good luck!

I agree w/Slider, if you put a stainless on a high h.p. motor (100+), then the hole shot will be a benefit. If it’s a smaller engine, definitely stick with aluminum to save the lower unit especially in the river. There’s also a composite alternative that’s comparable $ to aluminum. The individual fins shear off and can be replaced. I’d think this would be good if you’re running shallow rivers and went through a lot of props.
Aluminum can usually be repaired, I’m not sure about stainless.
I bought two alum. brand new off ebay for $125 total…just an option.
