Would you have one that works for a 899?

By far one of my favorite ways to fish is a flipping jig with a chigger craw and for colors, I like to match the jig to the color of the plastic. When water is clear, a watermelon, camp, or brown seem to do very well. As for dirty water, I like to use a black/blue combos. Hope this helps you in the year to come! Good luck!

As most have said, It will be putting less stress on your rods if you don’t but it also depends on the size of your reels. I have 2 pflueger trion size 20’s that fit easily then i have one of my older reels i dont even remember what it is called that is larger that i bend down but if u put it in the right direction should fit.

I believe they make some battery operated aerator like for minnow buckets and you could just put it in your case for your marcum/vexilar and run the hose down the transducer cord and that should keep your hole open.

Thanks for the advice. One last question. In the past i have had bad luck with mono and floro on spinning reels with memory and making what some would call a “rats nest” so i have switched almost all of my spinning reels to fireline or suffix braid. So do you run into a “rats nest” with inline reels and if so how do u prevent it?

what is the smallest sized jig that you think i could use with that setup as u said when the deepest i would be fishing is 17ft? on my spinning rods without a bobber i can use 1/16 oz regular jig and 1/32 in tungsten. how much improvement will we make with this?

You will be kicking yourself if you buy the 6 and you can afford the 7. The LX 7 is a great unit
