    not quite but thanks…
My fishing partner has one, it has a “plastic” coating on it. It seems like the color is an attractant to fish. We can fish same lure, same depth and that ball always out fishes the black.

I used to be a Vexilar person. Wouldn’t trade for my Marcum now. Spend the money on the LX 5. Its also a very quiet machine.

Like everyone else, I would assume the rotors. With the cost of them I usually just replace them instead of turning them. The brakes are REALLY easy to do. Two 18mm bolts and the caliper is off then the rotor pretty much fall off. With the best pads and about 45min you can put them on yourself for about $80 per side.

Thanks. I was looking at the roll up type. So the velcro holds pretty well? and seems to last?

I have a small portable TV, the rabbit ears suck. Two weekends ago I went to FF and bought a $20.00 flat digital antenna. It worked great I was in the Bemidgi/Walker area and picked up all three major networks plus Fox during the blizzard…

I had trouble with my Ford last summer, went to a web site called Ask.com. They set you up with a ford mechanic. it cost me 9 bucks to get the info and $23 for the part, fixed it myself. The shop wanted $250 for the same thing. For 9 bucks its worth it, the shop cost about $100 just to tell you its broke.

I was out in a northern MN lake this weekend, with the same type of sturcture. We were fishing in 26′ of water off a hump and picked up some nice crappie..not many but what was there were very nice. Might of had something to do with the blizzard that the fish were not real active. Most of the bites came after 9:30 pm

    Good luck

Any de icer that does not have actual salt in it or if it does use as little as possible. If the concrete is under a year old do not use any type of de icer. When the salts melt the water, the water gets into the micro pores of the concrete then freezes and causes all the damage. A lot of how the concrete reacts has to do with where you are and the aggregate used in the making of the concrete. If you have a lot of rock with shale, no matter what you do your screwed. The best bet is to stay away from the salt/chlorides, and use sand.

If you have your canvas I would take it to Canvas Plus and have them make one to match. They can usually give you a quote over the phone.

That is my “go to lure” whenever I start fishing. Sometimes the little ones are all the walleyes will hit!

I have had to purchase two rings…the first one I didn’t get back..

The first I purchased at a chain store.very nice ring but after purchasing the second, realized yes there is a huge mark up on any of that stuff. I would recommend going somewhere, where they have loose diamonds, pick out one in your range and a setting. Then go to a second store and try and find one with the same qualities and compare prices. I have heard good things about Shane. I bought mine from a small dealer on 4th and 4th in mpls. don’t know if they are still there.

I would get away from that type of house. The way I think is if it looks like it may break…it will. The more simple the better off you are. Especially when your out on the ice and its 15 below…if it breaks you have to be able to fix it. Just an opinion.

    Good luck

I did it about 10 years ago….used the patch, I did it during the winter and actually quit icefishing. I smoked over a pack and day and when I wasn’t smoking I had a chew in… Fishing and driving were the worst..so I chew a bunch of tooth picks in the truck. Once I mastered the truck, then on to fishing. One thing at a time, but it helped to stay out of the ice house. Bad thing is I am back to chewing when I am on the water…but only when I fish. Guys gotta have some vice’s!!! good luck

Since I repair the stuff for a living…have him replace it if it is a brand new home. The spalling will not stop even with a sealer and the sealers will wear. The only one made for traffic is about $80 a gal and will only last one year in a drive lane. The spall may not be from salt, but may be from shale in the mix. Where did the concrete come from (batch plant) To save hassle, I would have it replaced if it was me and it was a brand new home.
